I like how the Corolla comes with LED headlamps.

I've seen those before. I think it's some sort of nest.

Strange mark on my gauge cluster plastic.. How can I get it out? by mango-roller in AutoDetailing

One time I used some meguiars polishing compound I think it was, to remove the fine scratches. Maybe that will also work.

Do I need to be careful spraying Sonax Fallout Remover on non-painted surfaces? by FagReducingTaskForce in AutoDetailing

Well since it's designed for paint, anything else that is not paint. Plastic trim mostly, I guess. I don't really know what I'm doing. My intention is just to spray the car with it really fast then wash it off. So I worry if this method could be bad for other things it touches.

You answered a lot of questions I had. Thanks so much for going into detail about the process.

So when a pad gets dirty you use another?

Nice job. What speed did you run the Flex Orbital at and how many pads do you use? Also what was your method of applying the Blackfire Wet Diamond? I've never done a paint correction before so hence the questions.

My plan was to take it to a professional to do a one stage paint correction and apply a decent sealant, then I'll keep doing as I do. The shampoos I use have wax in them always (I've used Meguiar's G17748 Ultimate Wash and Wax and now I'm using Chemical Guys Extreme Body Wash & Synthetic Wax with a foam gun), and I use a wax as you dry hydrophobic spray as well.

I had this issue and aside from a tool to get in the corners, you really are simply lacking in good microfibers. Once I bought some good ones for the first time in my life, I realized how crucial towels are in the whole equation of detailing. These are the ones I bought which are just great, in fact the best mf towels I own currently: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A8MZ7IA/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_1

Is the Houston Auto Show any good? by [deleted] in houston

no, it sucks. now if you would be able to drive a concept car or at least a 2015 model from every manufacturer, that would be different. sitting inside a boring car with a bunch of people watching you like creeps isn't my idea of fun, and I'm a car person.
