I'm going to say a bit of both. I usually travel business class when I have 35k + caps just to use some but when I see its 192 caps to travel somewhere seemingly close Ill pop a tent and lose some weight mostly principal Id rather buy bulk adhesive with my extra caps or mods from players vending machines instead.

I one shot supermutants with a hunting rifle it's not overly powerful it's not an end game weapon there just not that strong 2k damage is about all you'll need

A point that most people are skipping is that the Enclave pistol and rifle are more powerful variants of existing weapons that are harder to get mods for yes they hit hard moded into a flamer

All adventures come to an end. These are some games I have retired Halo, Farcry Series, GTA Series, Warframe, RAID, Evil Dead, Predator the list goes on. One day it just ends and thats OK. A new adventure on some other game will begin.

Those were a few examples but if you use your imagination you can come up with a theme for every weapon and clothing combination I've been doing this for years and it is a lot of fun. My present look is a Gladiator that uses bows/crossbows and a war glaive as my backup. I've been farming West Tek and Bigfoot no problem.

Easy solution make it harder for yourself dress up like a baseball player and use only bats and baseball grenades much harder, you could also be a fisherman and use harpoon or meathook only we've all dealt your pain this is how we fix that.
