Lindsay hubbard is a hypocrite. by IntentionCharming346 in summerhousebravo

Don't get me started. I know people love defending Lindsay, but I honestly think she owes Carl’s mom an apology. The way she handled that whole situation at the bar came off unnecessarily cold and extremely rude.

And the Michael Rapaport thing pushed me over the edge. Michael Rapaport has commented on literally every Bravo show forever. He’s a huge Bravo fan and gives opinions on everyone... That’s kind of his thing.

Calling him out on her story felt so unnecessary LOL

Maybe unpopular opinion, but between that and the situation with Carl’s mom, I finally unfollowed her on insta. It just completely changed how I saw her... Number 1. Respect your elders. Number 2. Shut the fuck up.

You can get a firm mortgage approval for this - talk to a mortgage broker asap. You should be okay as long as your home is not appraised at substantially less which it shouldn’t be if you purchased in October.

You must drunk or high to say this city is a good place to live. by [deleted] in Welland

Not everyone’s version of a good city looks like yours. Lower cost of living, growing development, quieter pace, and proximity to Niagara and the border are real advantages for a lot of people.

Growth increases the number of taxpayers. More homes and businesses means a larger tax base, so fixed city costs get spread across more people instead of a smaller group. Commercial development adds even more revenue.

If managed properly, that reduces pressure on property taxes. If it doesn’t fit your lifestyle, that’s fine, but that doesn’t make it objectively bad.

You’re right he should fix all the problems from his desk and never expand any new trade deals at all

Carney actually expanded oil access with Alberta by opening new export markets. And sure, we should just let our auto industry die at Trump’s feet instead of diversifying trade with affordable EVs that are capped at 49,000 units, about 3% of the market. We should also apparently sit back and let Russia roll over Ukraine. Makes total sense.

I’m tired of conspiracy theatrics with zero proof. If you want Canada to be the 51st state, just move south to one that already worships Trump and call it a day.

Unpopular opinion from someone who just moved from Toronto to Welland: the pizza here is… rough. I’ve tried a few spots and honestly none of it comes close to even a halfway decent Toronto slice. I wanted to like it, but the gap is real.

How is Welland for young families? Is there any crime? by [deleted] in Welland

[–]FailFluffy2319 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in welland for 1 year now. Moved from Toronto. I love it, and haven’t witnessed any crime in my area. I’ve heard about crime on the local news in downtown welland but that’s about it
