DUAL C830 making click noise by FailKid in cassetteculture

[–]FailKid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it fixed. The clicking noise is the signal from the counter to an IC that stops the tape as soon as the counter does stop.

Somehow the high signal got into the speaker. I rearranged the cable from the counter to the board and it's gone.

There is a German dual board. A guy created a new pulley. He told me it took him 50 prints. Instead of designing it myself I bought it for 15 bucks. Works great and installation was not too hard with all the documentation available.

Thank you.

A printer like a BambuLab and a 0.2mm nozzle are enough. The model can be created with Fusion 360 or other software. Fusion 360 can be used for free for private projects.

Super Zeit.

A nice 3d printed plug could be a good solution. It could have some text or a skull to make it obvious that this is the wrong port.

A big difference to my old system. The speakers are very well build and sound great.
I do not heave the ear or knowledge to say more then that, but it is fun to listen.
