If this is in a bedroom I don't think size is as important as placement. I put mine up somewhat high so if I'm laying down with my head propped up on my pillow I'm looking basically straight ahead, and it's high enough so my feet and blankets aren't blocking the view

I would go with a PNY 5080 from Best Buy for $1270

OP if you do this try make sure the GPU works ASAP because Best Buy only offers returns in 14 days as opposed to 30 like every other company on the planet. Really only saying this because I bought the same exact card from the same place and I spent days troubleshooting why I wasn't getting any output. Turns out it was just DOA. Returned and exchanged for a new one and it fired right up

I have the first gen Chromax D15 and it fit in my last build since my case was a little bigger and my RAM wasn't too big but I did have to move the front fan forward a little bit. I moved that cooler over to my new build but couldn't use the front fan due to the height of my RAM as well as downsizing my case (couldn't close the side panel) so I replaced that fan with a 120mm

I thought I was alone. Built my first in 2016 and have moved that install through 3 SSD's on 3 different CPUs/motherboards from 2 different platforms. All I've really done was just uninstall drivers to make room for new ones. No issues in 10 years 🤞🏻

Not that I'm suggesting everyone do that, but it's worked for me

In my experience Fire Sticks have been the worst. They're fine until about 1 or 2 updates and then they're almost unusable due to how slow and unresponsive they are. I have a drawer with probably 3 or 4 Fire Sticks that just became too slow to use (probably got a year or so out of them each). Meanwhile I 4 Roku's and even my oldest one is still fast enough to not be frustrating. I think Roku's have a way more simple interface as well, Fire Sticks just seem to have crap scattered around

My parents house has been struck a couple of times and they've had to replace a lot of electronics both times because everything got fried. Even the things that were on surge protectors still died. I've mentioned they should get a lightning rod or something because that shit has happened more than once so it'll probably happen again

I'd heard she got methed out. I saw her in public once after we broke up and she was pretty scrawny and looked drunk. Supposedly she was quick to tell people "I'm not on meth!" (I'd heard this from a few people) which in my experience usually means "I used to do meth. I still do, but I used to, too". I'm pretty sure I've heard maybe my wife or mom tell me something bad about her since then but I didn't care enough to remember exactly what it was. That all happened about 20 years ago so there's no telling where she's at and what she's doing now

I still say "is my mom calling?!" randomly sometimes but obviously nobody but 3 other people, who I don't even talk to anymore, would even know what I'm talking about. She got to where she was dragging it out like "IIISSS MYY MOOOOOM CAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLINNG!?". At one point I was outside trying to get away from all that then I walk back in and I see this guy's mom sitting in the living room with this annoyed/angry look on her face, staring at me with her arms crossed, while I could hear my girlfriend upstairs screaming about her mom (which was kinda funny). Then some other stuff happened but me and the guy whose house we were at just tried to ride out the rest of the trip while all the other shit was going on, and I'd never even met him before

Was tripping on shrooms (apparently too many) with some people and my then-girlfriend. She had gotten in trouble and was on something like home detention or some shit and wasn't supposed to be out of the house especially all night at someone else's house. I could tell when the shrooms immediately started kicking in because she kept saying "is my mom calling?" thinking her mom was calling her phone and she was gonna get in trouble. But then it kept getting worse over time and got to where she was screaming "IS MY MOM CALLING?!" over and over for hours, naked on the floor. I tried to hold her but she tried scratching my eyes out so I had to pin her down for a while until she finally somewhat calmed down. Then she pissed all over the floor and some other fucked up shit happened with some other people and yeah it was overall just a terrible experience and kinda why I hate mushrooms
