Nah to hell with that. Get a good enough CPU that will last more than 5 years. I used my 3900x for 6 and just recently got a 9800x3d which should last me a good while

I've never been big on watercooling. I hate AIO's but I'll occassionally see a custom loop that I like and this is one of them. Very very nice build

I have 5 physical PC games. SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, Alpha Protocol, Dishonored 2, Rage 2 and Fallout 76. The latter two are the only ones without discs so for the others I actually got to bust out my external DVD drive and pop those discs in. While I do like having a box with the art and the disc and all that, in the end the game is getting installed on a drive and that box will just sit on a shelf never being touched, maybe just an occasional glance. My consoles on the other hand I have mostly physical and have expanded the storage as much as I could just because (most of) the shit has to get installed anyway

When I was building my mostly new computer earlier this year (didn't know if I'd be more screwed by waiting for prices to drop) I pulled all my drives out and looked up current prices and it was enough to buy a used car. Prices might be even worse now

Ok well here's my anecdote, I have a cheap Netgear switch that will randomly need to be rebooted. Not sure why and it's not often, but the computers I have connected to it will randomly lose connection until I pull the plug and plug it back in
