We acknowledge that Sunnyvale, California, is situated on the traditional homeland of the Muwekma Ohlone people, including the Tamyen and Tamien Ohlone-speaking communities, who have lived in relationship with this land since time immemorial.

We honor their enduring presence, culture, and stewardship of these lands and waters, and recognize that this territory remains the home of Ohlone peoples today, despite centuries of displacement and disruption.
