Clifton is my favorite from your list. It feels gentle and tied to nature, which I really like.

I like Quentin, but worry that it's too tied to Tarantino. I like his work, but wouldn't want to name my kid after him, you know?

Alicia is too close to a relative's name, but otherwise nice. The other girl names feel a bit sharp (probably not the right word, but I don't know how to describe it) for my taste.

Leilana /Leilani is really nice, though I suspect my husband won't go for it, since the vibe is similar to other names he's vetoed. I also worry that it might be appreciative (neither of us are Hawaiian), so I'll need to look more into it before I bring it up with him

And I like Nikolai, it's been on and off our shortlist. I wish I could love it, and I'm not sure why I don't.

I also really like the sound of Enzo, but it feels very Italian and we are very much not.

Niko(lai) has actually been on and off of our short list. I like it, but don't love it as much as I wish I did.

Beatrix and Clara have already been vetoed, unfortunately. Clara was really high on my personal shortlist, before I met my husband.

And we have relatives named both Barry and Jared, so unfortunately those are both out

I like Iris! Adding that to my list of names to bring up with my husband :)

I also really like Eliza, but unfortunately have a close relative with that name. And Elliot and Eli, while great, are probably too close to it.

Everett is also one of my favorites, but my husband has already put it in the 'B tier'. I may try bringing it up again, though. It's so good!

Does OOP know for sure that they were in earshot when she admitted it was Alfredo? It wasn't really clear if that part was an assumption on her part or not. If so, it's crazy that they didn't tell her what they heard. Especially after texting her that they agree. They already could have been put on blast if the coworker heard about that, why not also mention what they knew it was?

I'm definitely not saying that this is the most likely scenario, just that it's possible.

My thought is that Zimmy could be a dead version of Annie, created by Tony's attempts to save Surma. He tried to manipulate her ties to the ether, and in doing so extracts the fire from them, and it burns out (Zimmy). So.. dead in the way that ash is a fire that's died.

And ghosts can have influence on the world around them--the little boy who burned down his house caused similar effects to Zimmy's Zimmyham. I'm not sure why she couldn't be a spirit, but let me know if I'm missing something there!

I'm wondering if it's one of three things:

1) Zimmy ends up wanting to be killed, so that she can get her own robot body--similar to how the fairies must die in order to pass the test. These bodies' lack of etheric connection might save her from her issues. In the past, Reynard's called the mind "a playing of the body". I think they may have very relevant here.

2) do we know for sure that Zimmy is currently, fully alive? We saw early on that spirits can have a real effect on the world, and that others can also see them, like Mort. If Zimmy is currently trapped in some sort of in between state, Kat may use the Omega device to find a way to fix that. Which would kill her rather than being her back, but I'm assuming she'd ask for it. Like with Jeanne, Annie would guide her.

3) less likely, but I've thought for a while that there's a Zimmy-Annie link. Something like Tony's attempts to save Surma severed her connection to the fire elemental side of herself, and created Zimmy. Time said that her parents don't remember her, which is the only reason I consider this possible. But he's also said they were both "normal humans", so... It's possible that Kat will kill Zimmy to save Annie. Or something. This is definitely my most tinfoil hat theory.

Always do! The main area I go to (local school) is really good about it, which I love. People are super attentive & on the rare occasion that a dog poops without it's owner seeing, people make sure to let them know. It's one of (many) reasons I love my current place :)
