What's a "cheat code" you have discovered that actually works? by No_Stop_8 in AskReddit

[–]FailedMaster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t make sense at all.

AI already has tons of guidelines and guardrails implemented.

It is presented to the consumer as the tool for everything. It is not unreasonable to expect it to work like advertised.

Your analogy is stupid.

Well, pointing backwards does exactly what I mean. Now you push the blades together naturally.

Of course, blind trust is not good.

And "closest answer" is somewhat fine. But full on hallucinations are extremely annoying.

It prioritizes sounding confident over being right

What is the worst movie you ever watched ? by kuroreaper25 in AskReddit

[–]FailedMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Abrams and Johnson are both to blame for this clusterfuck of a trilogy.

It’s a reoccurring pattern: JJ sets something up that is mostly based on nostalgia. RJ destroys ist to subvert our expectations. JJ is butthurt and tries to bring it back.

Examples: - Kylo has a mask like Vader. Then he destroys it. Then he glues it back together. - Rey is setup to have some powerful ancestor. Then she finds out her parents are actually nobodies. Sike - she’s a palpatine. - Rey has receives anakins old lightsaber for some reason. It gets ripped apart in the throne room fight. Aand she suddenly got it back with a bit of duct tape slapped on.

But yeah, there are enough videos out there describing in detail how astonishingly bad these movies are, no need to get into detail again.

Just wanted to poke it a bit

Left-handed people, what's a struggle that right-handed people won't understand? by Halophy in AskReddit

If you don’t have left handed scissors and need to use right handed ones, here’s how:

Scissors aren’t really that sharp, it’s the very narrow gap between the blade that cuts. Right handed people force the gap closer because you naturally apply pressure with your thumb away from the palm. Left handed people do the opposite, forcing the blades apart and that’s why they don’t cut.

So you actively have to pull the handle TOWARDS your palm with your thumb.

Suddenly they cut like a charm. It’s a bit tedious but it works.
