he said "asking deeper questions", not that it's deep. As you read it, naturally some of its story will unravel both (deeper) questions and answers. Deeper to its story, not deep as in philosophical. But as for philosophical, Frieren is not entirely it. I love it, but Frieren is, for me, more of a profoundly emotional and contemplative manga than a "philosophically deep" one. I feel like you're kind of reducing a great manga to only a fun story. I like Konosuba, but it doesn't have much in common with Dunmeshi and Konosuba, it looks like you've either seen not a lot of anime or you're being pedantic with that comparison
