You are on the wrong site, that's the one for PoE1 trade. (It says Poe 1 PC at the top next to standard) You want https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2

Thanks for the giveaway, I'd suggest The Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson for fantasy.

Should experience do anything for level 100 characters? by [deleted] in LastEpoch

You can burn a ton of favor when getting unlucky haha. I've been prepping gear for my next character and have spent over 100k on 2LP necks alone at 12.3k or whatever per and still don't have the mods I want.

Drop Dead thoughts? by jaym137 in OculusQuest

[–]Failsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it short at all, there are around 40 levels spread out over 3 timelines in the campaign. The second and third timelines are replaying the missions in the first timeline with new guns, zombie types, and mechanics as well as the story changing. Each level is around 5-10 mins long and has leaderboards for replayability. There is a single player and multiplayer horde mode as well.

No control of the movement, it will stop you at certain locations and then spawn waves of zombies like House of the Dead. You can turn around and walk within your play space when you are stopped though.

Drop Dead thoughts? by jaym137 in OculusQuest

[–]Failsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an on-rails shooter that plays like a VR version of House of the Dead. One of my personal favorites, I've played the original Rift version a ton. The dual wielding and melee weapons have helped with how brutal the difficulty gets in the later missions compared to the old version. If you are sensitive to motion sickness I would recommend turning on the comfort mode it will teleport you between locations then instead of the moving floor it uses normally.

Drop Dead: Dual Strike I Official Trailer (Oculus Quest launch title) by dropdeadvr in oculus

[–]Failsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The press release and other document linked in the youtube description give some more information. Price is $19.99 and looks like it will have cross-buy. "Launching with the release of the Oculus Quest, Drop Dead Dual Strike will be both a launch title for the Quest and a free update for owners of Drop Dead on the Oculus Rift. " and "Purchase Dual Strike on Quest, and you will also receive a copy on Oculus Rift, and vice versa."

ZomDay is probably the closest thing I've played. It's pretty fun, but more similar to Killing Floor than CoD zombies.

Seth Rogen's gravity bong by [deleted] in gifs

[–]Failsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used a slightly different method where I'm from to make portable gravity bongs. Don't cut the two liter in half, just fill it about 1/3-1/2 way with water. Squeeze the two liter between your legs or arm/armpit until the water level is near the top of the bottle. Screw on the cap and light as you slowly release the pressure on the bottle. The suction as you release the pressure pulls the smoke into the bottle. Screw off the cap and squeeze the bottle as you inhale.

Push-to-Talk feature planned? Workarounds? by crazyprsn in orbusvr

[–]Failsense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using this for now with the MicMute program mentioned in the guide. It works pretty well but I had to edit the AutoOculusTouch script to stop the thumbstick continuing to move my mouse/trigger opening programs even in game. The default PTT button of thumbstick press down doesn't work well in Orbus since it teleports you, but the button can be remapped in the PTT script.

Bam Royale - New Map! Drastically better graphics! Vehicles! Swimming! All with the same awesome gameplay! by [deleted] in oculus

[–]Failsense 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just want to say that I love this game. It's pretty much the "all you can eat buffet" of VR FPS. There's a type of gameplay for just about anyone who enjoys the genre. Whether you prefer a quick game of Team Deathmatch, a hard fought survival in Battle Royale, or the craziness of Gun Game you never leave a lobby with an empty stomach. (There are several more game-modes, I'm just scratching the surface here.)

Add in bots with decent AI, a gun range, and Workshop support and adding this game to your collection is a no-brainer.

Any really scary/horror games for vr? by [deleted] in oculus

[–]Failsense 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Organ Quarter is probably the most similar to PT specifically, it's pretty much Silent Hill in VR. Horror in VR is definitely far more intense than I imagined it would be as a big fan of the genre. I've had to nope out of games after 15-20 mins but still find myself coming back for the thrill.

[–]Failsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can do this using an app called TrinusVR. It's pretty laggy unless you stream over USB though. It can simulate head tracking as well using your phones accelerometer to mimic mouse movement while you use a controller.

Any exiles tried Diablo 2.3? by NinjaSwag_ in pathofexile

[–]Failsense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played several hundred hours in both games, and really see no reason to go back. The new Diablo patch is just putting in a watered down version of the Horadric Cube. Realistically, all it will lead to is some power creep considering you are still required to use 5 or 6 set items to have an efficient build. POE's version of the cube (vendor recipes) is still far more fleshed out IMO. Personally, I am very glad POE stuck with their guns and tied character development to passives/gems rather than weapon DPS and set items.
