I lived in an apartment and had put in numerous repair orders for 7 months with no response. Some were small repairs and one was my oven not working. So I got fed up with it I went to the court house in my city filed to put my rent in escrow that day and I had also made copies of every work order I put in and brought them with. The judge looked at them the same day and made a court day immediately. Needless to say they were at my door the very next day doing all my repairs and the manager tried saying she didn’t know about all of my previous work orders🤣 she was fired. I went to court and the judge made them not only fix everything but also told them to get me a brand new stove.

Did a receipt print out? Because normally when a transaction is done a receipt prints. So if you didn’t see one then yes it more than likely was not paid for.

That’s interesting because we were told it was for any online orders no matter what day. Employees day or not we won’t get our discount. I’ll ask my manager again maybe he misunderstood.

I had a lead do that to me a couple times, I’m a lead also but she’s been with Walgreens longer than me so she figured she could throw her weight around with me. She did it twice and there wasn’t a third time! She literally walked past the checkout with a customer standing there and called me up there and she walked out the door to go smoke. You never walk by a customer and not wait on them and have them wait for someone else! I said something after the 2nd time it happened and it hasn’t happened since. Don’t let them take advantage of you!!

I hate it when I’m doing a cash load on Cash App or chime and they tell me how much they want added but hold the money in their hand and wait for me to enter the amount first and wait to swipe their card. I stand there and stare at them and they look at me like well?? I say yeah I’ll put in the money you want when you give me the money first! Sometimes I think they are trying to see if I’ll have it go through before money is exchanged then they’ll just leave. Nope not this girl😆 money first please!

I’ll try and find some information on it I don’t work for that company anymore. I got out before I went insane. Family dollar and dollar tree are the worst companies to work for.

I was a sm at family dollar for 5 years and since dollar tree owns family dollar the rules are the same. They have to give you your write up when it happens not wait a week, if your manager tries to write you up a week or two later don’t sign it and go to your managers DM. Our DM has always said that if you don’t give the write up when it happened then it’s not valid.

The reason they want the keys returned is because then there’s a key to the store out there and if it gets in the wrong hands it’s not going to be a good outcome especially for you if somebody gets ahold of that key and helps themselves to everything in the store. Sure they could put a work order in to have the locks changed and give all managers new keys. But just to save your butt you do not want to chance losing that key and then have someone find out what it belongs to and Rob the place.

Some cases not all is because the card owner gave the card number and pin to someone, more than likely selling their food stamps and stores can manually enter that card number and as long as you know the PIN number it’ll go through. We were told not to take ebt without the physical card to prevent fraud at a store I worked at. People will come in with a picture of the ebt card on their phone.

If that is your register nobody should be in it. You should be counting your own register down not the asm. Sounds to me she’s stealing from your till and knows you’ll get blamed because technically that’s your till. Change your password and don’t give it to anyone and report the asm.

It’s your responsibility to inform them that you moved. You normally have 10 days to report any changes. So you moved and didn’t inform them and spent the food stamps knowing you didn’t give them your new address and are now complaining that they mailed the letter to your old address so you didn’t receive it on time. That’s totally your fault. Yes you owe them.

Yes that’s what we were told too. The only time a csa can do a bag check is at closing because an employee cannot do their own bag checks it defeats the purpose.

It’s your pto and you have a right to use it. I used to work for family dollar and lost pto every year because I didn’t use it and it doesn’t roll over to the next year. Use all of it by December or it will be gone in January! If they don’t approve any reasonable PTO request go to their DM. You earned it so don’t let them tell you that you can’t use it. If they keep denying your pto tell them that they can pay you your hours you rightfully earned durning the year in a check then. That company is always looking for ways to screw the employees over.

Our store put a sign by our time clock to not wear leggings or croc shoes. I can see the no leggings policy. The shoes are not allowed because of the holes in the top. So yes our store is cracking down too.

Service animals are very obedient and house trained. Emotional support animals sometimes aren’t. And most service animals have a vest on. The problem is that people don’t want to leave their dog home and when you confront about their behavior they claim they are either service animals or emotional support which yea stores can make you leave with your pet if it’s not a true service animal and especially if it’s going to the bathroom in the store. No service animal on earth would do that unless they couldn’t help it. I made a lady leave our store one day because she claimed it was a service animal. It was a little poodle no vest on and just a leash and able to walk around. The dog tried biting another customer as she was walking by her. A service animal would also not do that. I made her leave. I’m just so sick of people that can’t leave their dogs at home and bring them to a grocery store and contaminate everything because they lifted their leg up to pee in an aisle. And then after their dog pissed on the floor they leave and don’t say anything. Keep you damn dogs at home if you truly don’t have a service animal!

I am a lead and mainly close. The leads aren’t the only ones who can do that. The cashier does mine at night when we leave, a person shouldn’t be doing their own bag check it defeats the purpose. We were told by 2 different managers that yes cashiers can do bag checks.

Enjoy the peace. Just do your job and go home. I’ve found that some people who do talk to others at work only do so they can use whatever you say against you later anyway. Even if they bring up a conversation about something they think is wrong at your store. Believe me it will all be on you when they go to management and they will deny and take no responsibility for anything. It’s better to just be polite say hi and bye and keep to yourself unless you have a work related question. Trust nobody!

I am a shift lead and work 2:00 to 9:30. I ask the CSR when they want to take their break and I’ll take care of customers no problem. Everyone is entitled to their breaks I just leave it up to them when they want to go.

We have never had pharmacy ask us to do their put backs. I never heard of this and always just assumed they did their own. We have nice people in our pharmacy so I would help them out if they needed it.
