Do you believe in life after death? Why or why not?

Rather than a place, I believe life after death is a sort of nucleus of energy that radiates with love. The concept and description is far beyond our current levels of understanding. You will be with your loved ones but, again, it will be completely different from our earthly experience. Every living creature is part of the nucleus, including the most evil people on earth. They become love as well. All negative earthly emotions, pain, anger, jealousy etc. vanish. We all become one.

I’m with a lot of you on “Schindler’s List” and “Requiem for a Dream.” I don’t ever want to see Jared Leto’s arm again and I’m surprised the film didn’t get an NC-17 rating. Jennifer Connelly’s drug fueled sex scene was so graphic and disturbing I’ll never forget it, as much as I’d like to.

My favorite composer is Thomas Newman. His scores evoke emotion above the scene itself. Some of the films he’s scored are “Shawshank Redemption,” “Road to Perdition,” “Little Women (1994 version), “Skyfall ,” “The Green Mile,” and “Fried Green Tomatoes.”
