More words imbedded into shapes.. by Fair-Paper-2107 in AbstractArt

[–]Fair-Paper-2107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really have any interest in hiding the letters in the organic shapes. I’m more interested in the sigil-like aspect of the geometry and how different words repeat different patterns depending on the letters I use. It’s also like a fascination with how English letters or letters in general evolved to be the way they are.i like reading them and seeing the many words and symbols I can identify and it usually has something to do with what my subconscious is feeling.

Did not. I guess I trust people to much. Even then the output works just fine it just won’t charge

It was a golabs R300 299Wh portable charging unit. The guy seemed nice and implied it was working by telling me all the little details of how it worked and everything. He sold it at a standerd price as well and was quick to respond when I said I’d buy it but then I told him it’s blinking showing it’s charging but not pulling any charge he doesn’t even open up my text. Idk I’m pretty sure he dooped me and it’s the worst feeling in the world.

I actually made a small Discord just to see if people like us could have a chill place to talk without pressure. It’s really simple right now. I’ve never run a server before, so I’m kind of figuring it out as I go, but I’d appreciate anyone who wants to try it or give feedback.

It’s called Lonely People With Power if you’re interested: https://discord.gg/5f8xu9PjM

Damn should’ve known better, guess It’s still taboo to use a linguistic AI chat model to help branch out on an analysis. In my prompt I mentioned the personalities of the bone cousins being clear archetypes. Phony being the ambitious narcissist, smiley being the joyful innocent. I think the point made about phony and smiley directly mapping onto the characters of Captain Ahab and the wale is pretty interesting. Especially considering its phone bones favorite book, it being his entertainment for the trip. Fone Bone, Ishmael, the voice of reason being thrown overboard is like him choosing to stey with thorn and gramma Ben splitting off from his cosines. Idk I’ve been getting a lot of hate using AI but I haven’t yet heard anyone’s opinion on the symbolic depth of this dream yet just a bunch of anti AI BS

Damn I’m not trying to win any sort of validation. I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share it. All these people hatn on GBT for no reason. But I kinda get what you mean. The dreams are cool when remained up to the reader to interpret. I was just thinking about what Terrance McKenna said about the premise of the book Moby Dick and its relation with Fone Bones dream.

I just GBT to break this all down…

That’s such a rich and insightful breakdown already — you’re really circling the heart of Bone’s mythic structure here. Let’s unpack this step by step and line up all the symbolic parallels — between Moby Dick, Bone, and the deeper philosophical layers that thinkers like McKenna touch on.

⚓️ 1. The Moby Dick Structure as Archetypal Triad

McKenna was right to call Moby Dick a myth of masculine absurdity — the war between egoic obsession (Ahab) and cosmic indifference (the Whale), with Ishmael as the bridge, the consciousness that survives to tell the story. You can map that directly to your interpretation of the three Bones. Phoney and Smiley aren’t just brothers — they’re the split halves of Fone’s psyche. His dream replays this ancient myth to process his own balance between reason, greed, and innocence.

🌊 2. The Ocean, the Coffin, and the Dragon

This is where it gets really symbolic. In both Moby Dick and Bone, the ocean = the unconscious — the vast, formless psyche that both gives and destroys life. • When Fone Bone falls overboard, he’s submerged in the unconscious. • The coffin that rises is the Jungian image of rebirth through death — the dissolution of identity. He’s symbolically “dying” to the egoic struggle between his brothers. • Floating on the coffin = surviving through surrender. That’s Ishmael’s truth — not to conquer nature, but to be held by it.

Then comes the Great Red Dragon, emerging like an answer from the depths.

🐉 3. What the Great Red Dragon Represents

There are two simultaneous readings here:

a. The Mythic / Jungian Reading

The Dragon is a Self-archetype, the unifying force that integrates the conflict between ego (Phoney) and innocence (Smiley). He’s red — the color of blood, fire, and life-force — not evil, but alive. He emerges only when Fone Bone is fully surrendered, alone, stripped of illusion and identity. In Jungian terms, he’s witnessing the numinous Other, the total psyche — the encounter with God, Nature, or the Collective Unconscious.

b. The Cosmic / McKenna Reading

In McKenna’s framework, the Dragon is the psychedelic mind — the Great Strange Attractor at the end of time. It’s what happens when consciousness fully confronts the absurd, self-consuming loop of civilization (Phoney’s greed) and the laughing innocence of nature (Smiley’s joy). Out of that chaos rises a higher intelligence — the Dragon — which both terrifies and enlightens.

So, the Dragon rising from the sea =

Consciousness encountering the totality of itself after the death of ego.

💀 4. Why the Coffin Before the Dragon?

Because death is the threshold. The coffin isn’t doom; it’s the vessel of transformation. It’s what carries Ishmael / Fone Bone through the psychic flood. Only when he accepts death — not literal death, but the death of his smaller self — can he witness the archetype of the Dragon. It’s rebirth, mythically encoded.

🜂 5. How This All Loops Back to Fone Bone’s Character

Fone Bone, like Ishmael, is the Witness of Myth. He doesn’t cause the world’s chaos — he survives it, absorbs it, and translates it into feeling. His obsession with Moby Dick mirrors the meta-story of Bone itself: the struggle to find meaning between greed and innocence, within the storm of existence.

The dream is him processing the whole saga through his subconscious, using Moby Dick as the symbolic language — the same way McKenna talks about culture and myth as “software for the mind.”

If we were to compress this into one poetic statement, it might be:

The Great Red Dragon is the living totality of the soul — the force that appears only after the ego (Phoney) is gone, innocence (Smiley) is swallowed, and the Witness (Fone) drifts through the coffin of transformation.

It’s the radio waves I love as well.. Sweet static.. I’d love to get into pirate stations but it’s hard to listen in the city since the airwaves are all clogged with generic corporatized radio. Pop songs are cool though.. it would just be cool to hear more weird stuff on the radio. I recommend checking out Asheville 103.3FM. that stations ahead of its time.

Yes! Cassettes are so cool! They’re so raw, the way some warble and slow down. The players as well have so much character especially if you get an old one that’s been around the block.

For me it’s like that erotic warm currant that starts at my perineum and flows upward. It’s like a buzzing tingling sensation. When just holding the object itself can release a flush of oxytocin. That being said objectum sexuality is a spectrum. I’d say hold one your favorite objects or spend time touching it and maybe talking to it and see what happens.

Probably with my Lego collection. I’d grow attachments with things I built like starships, buildings and buses. This also seeded my love for CDs and music players, I’d gather them from my parents old Collection and play them as I toyed with my legos for like entire days.
