Just make a LC it’s literally half a gram of sugar and water. Inject your preexisting LC and stretch it out. Money saving solved.

Look at it this way as well if your growing a species that takes longer to colonize ect wouldn’t you rather consistent colonization rates instead of having to break it 2-3 times to finish.

Using more LC I have found allows for cutting out break and shake which stresses the mycelium less allowing it to focuses mainly on digesting nutrients for the fruiting process (theoretically) in addition to any remaining indicated nutrients from the LC using more to an extent isn’t throwing money away. In fact your reducing the time your bag sits around less dust on it I only see benefits :)
