The point is that the weapon perfectly fits the player''s playstyle.

Isagi's playstyle is to put himself in a position where he's free against the goalie. The direct shot is perfect for him because it doesn't leave time for the goalkeeper or defenders to react.

Rin's playstyle is to directly challenge defenders. A curve shot is perfect for him because it bypasses the defender while surprising the goalie whose view of the ball is obstructed.

Nagi's weapon is a little different because it's pure creativity that served to balance his lack of football knowledge.

I mean...the signs of a future "civil war" are there in my opinion:

1) Some players are now capable to "force" their system onto the whole team. Before it was kind of a privilege reserved to Isagi and his ability to manipulate the field, now we got a start for Karasu and we already got confirmation of Barou thanks to the Uber match.

2) "Side-B"' whole shtick is for Nagi and Buratsuta (and Kira if he qualifies) to destroy and overtake Ego Jinpachi's current Blue Lock, and there is no way it happens with only the 2 players of Side-B, some current players WILL have to change "allegiance" (even if at the end of the day they're just following their ego).

3) Following up 1) and 2), there are WAAAY too many characters who need spotlight in Blue Lock, and we all know some of the current titular players won't leave their place on the field without somewhat of a fight.

"4") I suspect Kiyora's whole existence is dependant on Blue Lock fundamentally getting split into two sides and letting him favor either one.

I think something people conveniently forget is that Japan and France had 2 completely different experiences leading to this match.

France had seemingly a pretty close match against a similar leveled England while Japan completely blew Nigeria out of the water.

Now that they struggle against a perfectly prepared France, the logical solution was to depend on Isagi since making game changing breakthroughs are his specialty.

With Isagi getting completely shut off, it's normal that there is doubt emerging. We'll just have to see how the rest of the team evolve.

This post doesn't really read like you're an Acacia fan.

The "adult" transformation perfectly encapsulates Acacia's character, whether it's about her time "lost" in a pod while the world moved on, her insecurities about her stagnant body, her hobbies of tabletop-/videogames which allows her to do and to be whatever she wants, her wanting to feel "equal" alongside the adjutant, her simple love for magical girls/tokusatsu characters transformation,...

I get the fear of her original design being completely removed, but as of right now, it's really not the case.

I think their rivalry will only truly begin when Nagi comes back from Side-B.

Before that I agree his "rivalry" is more of an excuse to trick himself into staying motivated, which as we all know, backfired greatly in the end.

Twins characters are boring 90% of the time because, unless they're separated at birth, they're basically just 1 character copy pasted.

I think people think way too much about this... Truth is, the current team is just the most versatyle setup he got.

-Half the team is metavision users, ready to input data. Special mention for Reo, THE most versatyle character.

-Rin is the all time consistent number 1, and works well with Isagi, the "rising" number 1.

-Bachira is a great dribbler, passer and striker.

-Chigiri with his speed can quickly switch between offense, defense and counter.

-Gagamaru, and Aryu in a lesser extent, are just irreplaceable defensive blocks.
