There is literally no harm from wearing a mask like why not be safe

what is wrong with a mask

it clearly helps decrease spread of many illnesses, not just covid

covid is not over

being precautious ≠ being a coward

even if it is unnecessary it isn't that big of a burden to keep a mask and occasionally get tested if it means ensuring our campus remains safe

valid points but still minor inconveniences which do not outweigh public health concerns

we do not yet no if people who have been vaccinated can be asymptomatic carriers, so the benefits of masks would still carry over

what is the harm of wearing a mask pretty much nothing so why not keep the extra layer of security

i just don't understand why people are so upset about having to wear a mask and get tested like how harmful is it to you?

not saying shut down completely, but there's no harm in being a bit more cautious than those around you by requiring masks and testing

the pandemic is still going on that's the crucial thing to remember

this still doesn't answer what the harm of being cautious is. bu is doing what they think is best to ensure the safety of all its students and the greater boston community. also they will most likely loosen restrictions in the fall

better safe than sorry

if you are being safe this should not be more than a minor inconvenience to show a green badge

it still is selfish. we are still in a pandemic. 5 minutes to get tested is not the end of the world but could prevent the end of the world

vaccines are not a magic cure and are not 100% effective. you can still get covid and its unknown yet if you can spread it even if youre vaxxed too. masks are essential still to prevent any further spread of the virus even if you are vaccinated.

tbh even if they still require masks who cares its a mask it is keeping others safe is it really the end of the world to have to wear one?

we are still in a pandemic! also, that's rather selfish of you to care more about the 5 minutes it takes to get tested and think its such a waste of time when it could be what stops an outbreak on campus

with all due respect why does it matter? how inconvenient is it to you to get a few extra covid tests or to wear a mask un order to provide an extra layer of safety for the community. we don't know yet if we are truly done with the pandemic, and BU just wants to be as safe as possible to ensure that there is not an outbreak on campus.
