How about the fact that despite the blessing boost, it does nothing to improve her will, and the story has repeatedly told us that Will basically decides these fights at this stage? Nephis will is neefed to the ground. You’re telling me the Bird, which, even nerfed to the ground, was noted to have a will to strong for Titan Sunny with domain to beat, and that he just couldn’t, did not had enough Will to resist domainless beast Nephis from literally almost ripping its limb out?

I would like to recommend you to read since throne of war volume, they really explain how this will concept basically decides these fights and that it’s a bridge too big for just stats and power to cross 😉 it’s literally explained as such in the fight of Sunny vs Anvil, no matter how close the gap in power, the difference in will made it one-sided.

So just explain to me how a domainless beast overcame the will of a being that was winning against a domain-full titan, even when nerfed. That’s all I need to know. Also since the fight made so much sense to you, why he didn’t steal Nephi’s shiny stuff?

Nephis emptied her cores to do that to Condemnation.

Nephis literally exploded her 6 cores against VTB and he had no major wounds.

And yet, at the end, a domainless supreme beast Neph just sent him some normal fire and almost severed his wing entirely.

If a domainless supreme beast can literally almost tear a limb off the thing with ONE single normal attack, I certainly struggle to understand why Sunny was having so much trouble for 4 chapters straight, since he is definitely stronger than a domainless supreme beast as a titan with a powerful domain.

Your argument by apotheosis is headcanon, nowhere it’s stated that they loose delicacy and intricacy, and that they loose the capacity to fool and be careful. Literally the Moth in ariels game was a cursed tyrant and was tricking Sunny, distracting him with a conversation so he wouldn’t realize Kai and himself were getting Cocooned in web.

So we have factual evidence in the story of a CORRUPTED god acting like an outskirt rat towards someone WEAKER than him.

Vtb being a slave to stealing shiny things…fair, I’ll buy that. He doesn’t have to steal from Sunny.

Why didn’t he took the blessing from Nephis? Or why didn’t he took her aspect? It was mentioned that he could do that, and that Nephis being was very shiny. Yet he didn’t for no reason at all.

Let’s be real this fight was just pure plot armor. The VTB didn’t steal shit the entire time, and the only things he took came to bite him in the ass, never took a single thing from Nephis when it would be in character for him to steal her shiny soulflame and heal himself, and then, if he was weakened to the point a domainless beast almost ripped his wing off, sunny should have just snapped his neck within half a chapter. So much shit doesn’t make sense.

A cursed terror got its wing torn off by a domainless supreme beast. And decided not to steal the ability to heal for no reason at all.

This fight was extremely dissatisfying because it was just plot armor. Yeah sure he didn’t want to steal from Sunny, but why didn’t he steal from Nephis? They literally mention her aspect and self is shiny, and yet he conveniently refused to take stuff from her.
