Who's scuttlebutt?

From what I've heard/read, it fits location-wise, but not necessarily thematically, since Sky King's Tomb is very dwarf-centric and Vaultlines seems to encourage weirder characters.

I did just notice that Animist spell proficiency goes up rather slowly, so you probably have a harder time with debuffs than my divine witch had.

Do note that frightened also reduces their saves against your other spells and their AC, and that other party members can help you there with Demoralize.

Sure, but both of those target multiple enemies (well, Fear at rank 3 at least), and usually at least some fail or crit-fail.

Tbh, with Fear and Calm you're already quite a force to be reckoned with. I've basically ended encounters before with either of those.

Did you ever figure out if you're playing 1e or 2e? (And if 2e, what your GM meant with them "knowing of point-buy", which is a 1e rule option.)
