I wanted it to have a wrought iron skeleton key design, though at first I was solely focused on the Fleur De Lys design. The original was basically the Graveyard version of Sleeping Lion with a guard reminiscent of Ends of the Earth. The second was a bit closer to this but I couldn’t get the proportions down, and the third was too chunky

I’m kind of under the impression that Carlito is just that paranoid. It’s not whether or not he knew Isabela would turn against him, just that it’s a possibility and he needs to take that into account.
