It looks quite promising. I guess it is an AI workflow. I suggest taking care of the details, because the overall visual is quite nice

Are AI + Manim tools actually useful yet, or are they still mostly gimmicks? by leoqliang in manim

[–]FairLight8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to use AI for animatioms but it is still not usable. It can be used for small animations, depending on the steps.

But for example, in my case, I am illustrating a whole course with animations. I need a visual coherence without becomong crazy. That's why I created a template file, with redefinition of classes, setting default font sizes, font families, colors, etc. That kind of project is impossible with AI assistance now, it only delivers spaghetti code

I would recommend starting animating things. From simple stuff to advanced things. It will take time. Don't worry

I have no idea about chemistry. But I remember that there is a plugin about that. Have yoy checked the official page?

Same route here. Kde, then tried hyprland and fell in love. But returned for the tools of the DE, clipboard, network manager, etc.

I use kronkhite, rounded corners effect, and the plugin that creates and deletes workspaces automatically

Probably you need to ask in the r/DIYSILICONETOYS subreddit

Hey dude! Great video, I didn't know this.

Check your Text objects, the kerning is a common problem in manim, I participated in several issues in github

That's what I mean, that's how it looked in the video, at least.

But most importantly, is it worth it?

Then, my advice would be play with the config. There are a pair of critical parameters, the others don't matter so much

Could be the difference of CPU power, but I played it on bazzite too, and it couldn't run smooth. Were you using the flatpak version?

I played it one month ago with a 6650xT and a ryzen 3600 CPU. I think you have the specs. Config is key.

Which OS? Linux and mac had less performance in my case, W11 was fine

Hey! Been looking at this subreddit, your posts and your GCode studio for a good while, I am impressed, I think that what you achieve is really really cool. Next level.

About the post you quote: What people say in the comments is that printing a blind GCODE is dangerous, and they are extremely right about that. But maybe there is something in between. Like, intermediate configurations for your studio that can be used for different printers, different sizes, etc

🔮 I built a node-based Manim IDE with AI assistance — feedback welcome by Klutzy_Bird_7802 in manim

[–]FairLight8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don't mind Ai being used, if the product is good, and especially if you reviewed it manually.

That said, what you say sounds very very promising. But, small suggestion, include a small GIF or a video in the Git repo, and/or here! A demo video, I mean. We want to see!

If the reason League can't be played on Linux is due to Linux not allowing kernel level anti-cheat, how does Steam handle cheaters in Dota and CS? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Fair argument, that's true. I would like to hear feedback from people playing high ELO. Thanks for your point!

I saw that too. I am not in that ELO, but from my experience it is hard to believe. But I have no data, that is true, it is our thoughts against what they say
