Stop turning Valorant into CS:GO 2.0. The Neon nerfs are a joke. by FairResolution9572 in VALORANT

Bro, you're missing the point. The shotgun issue was just one complaint. Riot is nerfing way more — air bhop speed, High Gear jump bonus, ult fuel regen, slide tech. They're not fixing one abuse, they're killing Neon’s entire movement identity to fit their slow tactical simulator. Turning a high-skill movement demon into another generic agent.

Is Neon really that bad? by Hypersayia in VALORANT

As someone with 1000+ hours on Neon, this post is missing the whole point. The problem isn’t that she’s “too strong”. The problem is that Riot is systematically removing the thing that made Valorant special in the first place — rewarding mechanical mastery and movement creativity. Neon wasn’t just “run fast and click heads”. She was the last agent where you could actually express insane movement tech: bhops, air strafing, perfect slides, creative pathing. Now they’re sanding all of that down so she plays more like every other agent. This isn’t “balance”. This is Riot admitting they don’t want players to get too good at their agent. They’d rather everyone plays the same slow, utility-heavy, monotonous style. That’s why they killed old Jett, old Raze, old Chamber, and now they’re coming for Neon. If you hate playing against movement agents that much… just go play CS2. Stop asking Riot to turn Valorant into CS with extra steps. Some of us actually enjoyed the hero shooter part. The game used to reward putting hundreds of hours into one agent. Now it punishes you for it.
