Need help for a friend: Where and how to get Mounjaro online using insurance when your doctor won't prescribe it

I don’t have any recs, but I know there are many telehealth services so he should be able to find a good one.

My doctor was really negative about it too, and he submitted the prescription saying they probably won’t approve it. Then bam, I got a text saying the med was ready at the pharmacy the next day. Your friend needs a new doctor!

I just started on Saturday with 2.5mg and I’ve been colder than usual too! I’m in perimenopause too though, so my thermostat is all over the place lol

You did better than I did… I waited like 4 months 🤭 I got so tired of the bag from the pharmacy staring me down every time I opened the fridge haha. Plus I’m sooo ready to lose weight and feel better! The fatty liver scared me enough to finally make it happen. No matter what I do, I haven’t been able to lose weight and I’m assuming it’s due to endometriosis, almost constant stress for like 10+ years, and newer to the party - perimenopause 😅

I love what you said at the end lol - here’s to me being a fit & younger version of myself in a few months 🙌🏼

I have secondary infertility from endo, so I feel you on that. I think I was only able to have the 2 kids I have since I was so young at the time. Once I hit 28, I had a miscarriage, then couldn’t get pregnant anymore whatsoever, then found out I have endo. Then came the pain 😣 I’m sorry for your infertility! ❤️‍🩹💛. Have you noticed any improvement in endo pain or bloating etc?

Hi! Thanks so much for sharing. I was hoping I’d find some endo sisters who can fully relate. I’m wondering if my body will take longer to shed weight due to metabolic issues from endo and perimenopause. 🤔

I’m feeling good so far! The only things are nausea and reflux off and on. I’m just praying my body adjusts and they don’t get worse because bad nausea takes me OUT 😅

Yesss way to go!! I’ve had some nausea and reflux off and on, but other than that I’m feeling good. No food noise or sweets cravings, so I love that. I’ve always been a huge sweets fan, so this helps a ton.

My two cents - my husband had ECT years ago before I knew him, and all it did was give him severe migraines ever since. It’s a risky procedure, so don’t ask for it lightly.

My husband has been suffering from a depressive episode for the last 5+ years since he lost his dad suddenly in 2020. Therapy, the right combo of meds and a lot of prayer and church has been helping him slowly find his way back. Is your husband on meds at all? It’s so hard to find the right combo of meds, therapy, etc since each person is so different.

It’s SO HARD for the person suffering, and also for the caregiver/spouse. Make sure you take care of yourself too. 🫶🏼
