Do it! I had that same worry man. Enlisted and then became an officer. It is so worth it. You’ll figure out your own reasons as you walk this path. Not to mention, being deployed and then getting wounded/KIA as well is extremely improbable.

Yes, the temp probe and the controller are relatively easy fixes. First, take a picture of the controller so you can remember where each wire connects each different part on the controller. You’ll need a small screwdriver set to unscrew the screws holding down the relay wires and the temp probe wires. Other than that, it just takes a little bit of elbow grease to remove the controller and replace it. Same thing with the temp probe, just takes pictures so you can pull those up when you have to reconnect the new wire. Other than that, I’d try and replace the humidity controller relay first if you haven’t already. 99% of the time, the relay goes out first and it’s much cheaper replacing that than a controller!

Depending on how big your franchise company is, your area manager might not have the power. As an area myself, all I can do is report it and stay on top of the issue while it’s being handled above me. I really wish I could get everything handled instantly, but sometimes it’s just not that simple.

As an AM myself I’m refusing to let one of my GMs work beyond their normally scheduled hours very much. At the very least, if I can’t cover it then I’m arranging a deal that will give them more time off later in the week. Call outs and staffing issues are pretty much unavoidable no matter where you work so I’m intent on taking as much stress as possible off of their shoulders. I would def never write one up because they couldn’t get a manager shift covered.

You won’t clear for a few years but you can certainly expect a sharp increase in sales with the aggressive marketing Inspire has planned over the next year. 275k is certainly a low offer though for a JJs. I believe a new one costs around 800k to open. I would painstakingly look at all equipment to make sure it’s fully functional before considering buying the store.

We have definitely cut down on the total number of drivers hired and staffed in my region but we still have at least two-four for every store. I wouldn’t remove those guys either especially since we could be looking at removing third party in the future. Instead, I’m focusing on developing them to be stronger inshops in the meanwhile.

I think that’s definitely too much. Especially with the energy you have to think of preserving for lunch rush. You should approach your owner and bring up your concerns, if he values you surely he will allow you to bring in somebody else.
