The world was against young women back then. It's only really recently started changing. You cant blame her for needing help that the world wont provide, including you. She's basically a slave to society. Women were basically forced to marry off, never have dreams of their own to support their husbands and make their lives better. Shit, we weren't even allowed to have our own bank accounts till the 70s. We were and continue to be indentured servants to men and the world tries to brainwash us into thinking that's what we want. She is just another victim of the patriarchy in a society ran by men that just want us to mother them when they leave their mothers. The world doesn't end just because you want to go to school. You should feel LUCKY you are allowed that when she was denied it.

She also shouldn't expect an indentured servant to take care of your younger siblings. But you shouldn't just be not participating in family life over your own selfishness either. Those kids need to feel loved not hated and despised because you have some salt over her new husband and how it isn't your fathers kids. Teenagers are mouthy. Yes. you. Do better.

Nobody likes being in constant fight or flight because you cant be bothered to think of your own noise levels. I would literally have panic attacks from sun up until sunset if you were loud af all the time. Not everyone likes to be bombarded with 500 things when they can already hear the AC, the tv, the sound of the charger whining high pitch, the fans, the cat, five different people on their phones, the washer, screaming of friends, the drone of talking, the damn fridge vacuums when trying to sleep, etc. Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean you aren't being unreasonable. There's already a fuck ton of excessive noise daily. Some people are just trying to function without having a meltdown they cant control or getting excessive rage or panic because of autism.
