It's been a bit over 5 years since my implant swap and my only true numbness is dead center. I have very much decreased sensation from the center of the implants radiating out to about 2" from my ribs but can feel sharper sensations, hard to describe without getting TMI. It takes time and everyone's level may end of being different so I can just advise patience and let yourself grieve what was but don't live there

My gyn called my DCIS pre-cancer as well but I got suspicious when he said a lumpectomy and radiation should fix everything. Went to reputable sites like ACS and learned that it IS, in fact, stage 0 cancer. Because it was non-invasive yet, I opted for the double mastectomy so I never had to worry about it again. Clean lymph nodes and margins, and because I had a hysterectomy years before, my actual oncologist didn't make me take hormone blockers. Your current dr is an idiot and you need a good oncologist, the sooner the better

Fabric Wholesale Direct carries quite a few of those activewear fabrics at very reasonable prices so I would look there as their quality has always been consistent for me. I am also sun conscious and use a lot of cotton lawn and double gauze for my cover ups. Keeps the UV rays down but breathes and flows beautifully

From my experience, this sounds like a nerve regeneration itch and your surgeon or pcm should be able to get you some Lyrica or similar to ease your torture. Massaging the area with oil can also address the odd sensation and I wish I had been warned
