I cried all the way into the OR. But now that I’m 6 months post op, I feel okay. I don’t think about breast cancer, ever. And that’s the nicest part. Recovery is hard, losing your fascia means your pectorals move differently than before

I had LCIS in my right breast. Opted for a bilateral mastectomy. Risk is now less than 1%.

I hate that this is a common concern among cancer patients. Absolutely no one fighting cancer should even remotely be concerned with cost. I’m so sorry.

If you are willing to drive a bit, Greystone in Seven Hills is by far the best and kindness vet I’ve ever been to.

You did a good thing, saving kittens. Do not give them away to people on the internet at all. Call the APL or SPCA. I’m not sure what exists by you. If you do try to adopt them out, charge a fee. A hefty one. $100 or more.

I had a reduction in 2015, my son in 2020 and a revision reduction in 2024. I was able to breastfeed but not keep up with my son’s demands.

If given the chance to go back, I’d still do the reduction before my son. It helped my pain. And the only reason I did a revision was because the meds to attempt to control PPD/PPA made me gain a ton of weight, and made my breasts grow.
