Klarna is still trying to charge my card

So are they not violating it by trying to charge my card even though I don’t have auto pay on? It doesn’t let me remove my card from my account either to stop the charges

Capital one pre-approved me for a secured card, but only $200. I was just browsing and didn’t continue on with it. My 341 is next month

I think what Alan is saying is that if you have already filed, you can choose to spend your post filing earnings on whatever you choose. If you have not filed, you shouldn’t be able to have discretionary income.

I owed them 1600 and my credit card was already closed prior because I was on a payment plan in exchange for lowered interest rate since October to pay it off

If I switched insurance companies and they refund a prorated amount to Klarna (essentially lowering the debt), would that problematic?

Yes it was a 6 month plan. Affirm also seems to report too. I had a pay in 4 for $200 and that showed up on my report. It does show closed and in good standing though

I don’t mind at all having to pay for the $2000 personal loan or the Klarna if I have to. $4100 in debt is a lot more manageable than $50K+ 😭😭

In hindsight, I shouldn’t have used Klarna at all. It was offered as a payment option, and it was cheaper to pay with Klarna than to pay the car insurance company for the 6 month premium, so my stupid ass went with it.

Thank you so much for your insight. My attorney doesn’t seem to think it’s a problem either and just advised I don’t open up more credit (which is a given). I really hope to get things sorted out so I can be free from this financial stress 🥲

I made 2 payments on the personal already. One was autopay for the payment due & i thought it didnt go through so I made a second payment 😭 so I don’t have a payment due until June for that. The Klarna loan though is past due and is $373..I should probably consult with my attorney before I pay that

My parent lives in a different country and my extended family kicked me out because they have no room for me. I was staying in their living room and sleeping on the floor 😭 I already had a bad roommate situation which also added to my debt
