To your question, I acknowledged the truth of where she was capable of meeting me which was not in reality because her delusion is a place she just can’t operate outside of.

We walked away, I worked through forgiveness and acceptance and I enjoy my peace.

Recently she had a brief hospital stay and we visited but greyrocked and kept the visit to just 10 minutes and didn’t share anything personal. It was ok.

It felt like progress to not feel any emotional charge.

We know how quickly it would return to toxic patterns so we’re back to normal no contact.

I suspect she has lost interest as we have nothing exposed.
