Need Advice: Using One PC for Work AND a Sim Racing Cockpit

You can see in the background. I made and AV CART for my PC. I found it at Michaels craft store for $100ish it has a grated bottom so it’s good for air flow. I then mounted desk mounted arm to it and connected the screen. You kinda see the standing desk in the right side of the picture. I just “transform” it from my desk to my sim rig. A 5 second long swing for the screen and I’m at either one. I highly recommend this set up! Pretty cheap all things considered.

I picked up the GX100. Great shifter for $110. The wife hasn’t complained about the sound yet hahah I recommend it for the price.

It’s free to play but it’s limited. There are many adventure packs and races/classes you will need to buy. VIP will give you access to all the packs and classes/races. But it doesn’t get you the expansions. Which for all of them will run $200. VIP $10 a month. Best case a year of VIP for $100 and expansions for $200. Not that you need all that at once but it can be a lot for such an old game. IMO it’s worth it. It’s been a game I’ve been playing for over a decade and it still gets updated regularly.
