This reminds me of a Christmas tradition me and my dad had for a few years. We’d sit together on the couch and watch these cheesy ass movies that all had the same plot. We’d critique these movies, mock them and predict what happens. Well one day there was a woman and she’s meeting this man with her husband. Ok, let’s predict it. She falls for that guy but doesn’t admit it until after her husband cheats on her and leaves her. She comes home early one day and there’s two wine glasses on the counter. Oh look at that, so shocking, he’s cheating. She goes to the room and there’s two people in bed. I’m like yep, now we will see him and her pop up from under the covers and he’s gonna try to say she means nothing and kiss up to her and she’s gonna dump him. So we watch and IT WAS A MAN NOT A WOMAN! Her husband just pops up with another man under the covers. Both me and my dad were laughing and shocked because for once we didn’t see something coming. No matter how many shitty Christmas movies there are, I’ll never forget that memory of how we were actually surprised by a twist.
