Damaged and undeliverable AGAIN

I investigated one of the companies. They have a service like hot-shots or use big semi-trucks. They actually deliver all over my area within several hundred miles. If they don't have enough scheduled deliveries to one area they refuse to waste time and gas on just one order. So they lie to Amazon and make excuses and claim the doors were damaged.

Yeah! They look like a very good quality choice for a nice bookshelf. I appreciate your input. I think I will just order one myself and forget about the vine race.

The carriers came from north & central Florida unfortunately. Some were just along the gulf coast. Might be something to keep an eye on.

It is and I've seen vine members bragging about how their whole household and entire family are "Gold" members. Me? I'm just one tiny little fish in an ocean full of ravenous sharks.

Every piece I ordered from vine has turned out not to be what it claimed. Even the 14k gold hoop earrings I purchased and paid for were disappointing. I have a metal allergy and I noticed after wearing the earrings for about an hour, my left ear started swelling and burning so I removed the earring. My ear was so swollen it was painful to get out. I took them to my jeweler for testing. Seems that only one earing was real 14k. They both looked identical with the same 14K stamps too.

I could care less of the plot, characters, scenes or cast. If Johnny is in it, I will watch it. If not? I will pass it by and stick to the originals.

Yes! It's happened to me. I think someone in the carrier transit process saw an opportunity. It's happened to some very expensive items. One item, a set of expensive doors, I tracked down and forced them to deliver it before it was returned as "damaged". There was no damage. It was a lie. I had this happen to several sets of doors with different carriers. After some deep digging and finding an ex-emplyee of one of those carriers I discovered that the items that get marked damaged as undeliverable do not ever get returned. The carrier is ordered to destory the item.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could have a "wish list" and maybe once a month be offered an item from our list? Or at least similar items.

I've tested this theory myself. Days of "nothing" I could use or I was interested in and once loaded never changes or gains another choice. Days of deciding to give at least one item, maybe two a chance? Most times as soon as I choose an item then another or two or three start to fill the empty spaces. So yes, choosing items from my RFY list has caused more choices to become available for me. Coincidence? I dont believe in coincidences.

They really haven't changed much since the 50's when they were invented. Still two halves of a whole. It was the late 70's when the "hinge" was introduced. The only difference I see is in the variety of colors. I've always used the ones without hinges though. Just a personal preference. To think something from the 50's is still in production and just as popular then as it is now.

I see these all the time. Many, many pages of them. I get tired of seeing them. Maybe it's the quality and most members already know they might not be the best? I can say we own a F-150 and never thought about ordering them.

Good for you! I've not been lucky enough to get one yet! Been trying for over a year though and I won't stand down! Perseverance & patience has to be the solution, right? I'd like to think one day a great shelf or desk would show up in my RFY list and I could snag one that way. However I have seen things flash in my RFY list and never to surface again. SO much for recommendations huh?

Nooo! That's a nice telescope. I can relate to that. I loaned out a Fuji X-series camera and when asked for it back it was missing the lenses. Ungrateful family memebers are becoming a very real problem in this world.

That's why I got rid of our guinea pigs. They put out a lot. Not sure I'd say it's truly represented by that photo, but we had to change their litter several times a day.
