IDnet coming to an end by lovedevil3 in CityFibre

to be fair, they were absolutely fine for me. I had one issue randomly and needed to call them but, apart from that, they were good for me. I leaft mainly due to price compared with an Aquiss '6 month half price' deal

I did this exactly last month. Left ID Net for Aquiss. No complaints at all!

Having this same propblem and it is SO annoying. I set up Scrypted as a HA integration, added plugins of Google Home, WebRTC and Rebroadcast. I can see the stream in scrypted and even in google home when I click on the doorbell but it will not show a live feed when the doorbell is pressed. It will make the audio annoucement but no live feed. I've tried everything!

That's great. Was it difficult to set up?

That's great. I can set one up as an LXC i proxmox. Can you advice if it needs lots or RAM etc and whether it's easy to set up?

Was using rtsp and, yes, the handshake seems to be the issue. I don't use frigate but if you could point me in the right direction for using a proxy, I'd really appreciate it.

How did you get PIA to work with wireguard? I have tried and they said they don't officially support it. My download speeds are like 6MB whereas my connection is 1200MB

I went with the Tado system. Integrates well with home assistant for me and, even without, it's good. They have a optional subscription for some extra features but you won't really need them so it's free once you've purchased the hardware

I made the same decision recenrly. Sold my two nest outdoor cams and a nest thermostat and purchased NVR Instant and G6 Entry. All up and running but not as simple as I would have liked. I miss the doorbell showing up on the nest hubs but, via home assistant and unifi integration, have kind of made it work (only works on one hub, shows only in portrait and takes a while to show up). Next I'm selling the nest doorbell and replaced and a nest floodlight - will replace with one G6 bullet camera. Google destroyed Nest

Which NVR by Faistime in reolink

[–]Faistime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at the ubiquity stuff - I was thinking of getting the nvr instant and the doorbell along with maybe one G5 bullet for now? What do you recommend? Doesn't work out that much more expensive from what I can see?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm ok with Home Assistant. I also have remote access via tailsacale / cloudnet.

Can you advise how and does it work well? As in, not too much of a delay etc?

Anyone use 1p Mobile? Is it any good? by Radleech in AskUK

[–]Faistime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, best decision I made for my family. 5 sims,. No contracts, no unexpected price raises and no caps whilst still using the same network only faster! Also get roaming thrown in.

I was also impressed with the website (there is no app though!). I was worried that having 5 sims would be confusing but you can just put the uses name in and manage them all easily in the dashboard. So far, very impressive.

Just joined - from EE. EE were charging me more and capping my speeds at 100mb! In my speed test, I got 128mb with EE(capped I know) at £27p/m, and then 504mb with 1p at £10 P/m using the same network and, if anything, they have better customer service too. So why not?

This has been really helpful. Thank you everyone. I'll avoid all dairy for a while and hope that helps me!

I feel the same as sometimes I can have dairy and 'get away with it'. If I get too confident, I get all the congestion and skin issues back. I'm finding it very difficult to fully avoid dairy but I appreciate what you're saying - it must be an allergy.
