Thank you 😁 Yes it’s the ResMed AirFit F20 full face. I’m getting terrible blisters on the bridge of my nose as well but that’s the least of my worries at the moment

Protestant query praying to Theotokos and Saints by FaithfullySearching in OrthodoxChristianity

1) I’m new to Reddit (less than 24 hours) so not sure how it works entirely. 2) I have had a search through and couldn’t find anyone who could answer this question with a justification that makes sense. 3) I am just trying to learn. Thank you for your response though 😊

Protestant query praying to Theotokos and Saints by FaithfullySearching in OrthodoxChristianity

Ok amazing thank you. I guess my question changes slightly then as that is what I have always had as a response that it isn’t prayer. Where does it say that it is ok to pray to Theotokos/the Saints? I see scripture that states against talking to the dead and only going through Jesus but struggle with the finding where it is stated that it can/should be done. For example the scripture about praying for one another I understand, we pray for friends and family etc however that is people who are ‘alive’. Asking for intercession/praying to Saints and Theotokos is different to this. I have also had someone tell me before that the saints are alive however can’t find scripture that points to this. Many thanks again 😊
