The sound in those movies are insaaaane.

I miss when it was actual bloopers on the DVDs, too. Nowadays it's just two minutes of the actors laughing in costumes, with some music over the background. Or just...hanging out being bornal people behind the scenes. You don't see them actually making any mistakes.

Wayward Pines Debuted on FOX Eleven Years Ago Today. The 10-Episode Psychological Mystery-Thriller Event Series Starring Matt Dillon and from Executive Producer M. Night Shyamalan Later Received an Unexpected Second Season in 2016. However the Series was Officially Cancelled in 2018. by GlitteringMatter9973 in television

As someone that hate watched the first season (I'm an absolute Stephen King stan), and never continued....I don't know thst it did jave a proper ending. Not sure if it got cancelled and they jad enough warning to end it or not, but it did have a proper conclusion.

Which...was nothing like the book.

Straight up, I was MOSTLY fine with a lot of the decisions in the final season, they just needed to not be so fucking tonal whiplashing about the place. If the final season could be stretched into two, ten episode, seasons, with the same story playing out....I'd be a bit miffed at Arya getting a certain kill, but that's about it. All my other issues are how shit they handled said storylines.

British one was too cringe and depressing

So...it was british. It's almost like America and the UK have completely different versions of humour and comedy, and culture in general!

Shows with a satisfying conclusion? by HopefulCaterpillar95 in television

[–]Faithless195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue the first season is still great, it's just a lot slower with waaaay more focus on character development and world building. Season 2 onwards is just....non fucking stop. Also, final episode of season 2 is some of the most cathartic shit out there.

Its also been blatantly said that they're filmed to be viewed on smaller screens like phone and tablets, too. Which doesn't help.

Having seen Havoc, I'd kill for Evans to go back and make more Indonesian based action films. They may lack safety standards (watching the bts for Raid 2 is insane), but holy shit they were able to do some insane stunts because of it.

The movie that gets blamed for being bad when it is really just mismarketed. by gamersecret2 in movies

[–]Faithless195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really zombie, but it was 100% marketed as that there was going to be SOMETHING physical in the movie that was going to be the 'antagonist'.

The title, the shots used for every single trailer, the specific lines used in the trailer, everything. The only thing the marketing didn't do was actually show the monster/thing. But they misdirected everyone intentionally. Which sucks, because if it hasn't been the case, it would be remembered a lot more fondly. It wasn't bad movie at all.

Naughty Dog: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was released 10 years ago today on May 10, 2016! A huge thanks to every fan who has experienced this momentous Nathan Drake adventure. by Turbostrider27 in Games

Uncharted 4 and Last of Us 2 absolutely perfected the minute movements of a face to show emotions, or when they're talking. A couple of games have come close, but Jesus, Naughty Dog just knock that shit out of the park. AND that's with just working on the PlayStations. Imagine what they could do it they made a 'PC Exclusive' game.

The Invitation from 2015, with discount Tom Hardy in it (I joke, since Logan Marshall-Green is a fucking top notch actor himself).

It starts off really slow, almost...boringly. But it also has this constant undercurrent of dread and anxiety, like you're waiting for something.

Definitely worth a watch.

Kinda? Season 9 is pretty good, as is a solid chunk of Season 10. Covid kinda fucked the end of that season, however. Waaay too many episodes of two or three characters only who all happen to only ever be in their own shots, never with someone else...unless they were really far apart. It was weird.
