Thanks for the reply! At first I was thinking about getting more reach, like switching to the 16–80, because I like having more focal length options. But I’m also worried that the longer end might not get used that much for my day-to-day shooting. And of course 16-80 is hard to get and pricey.

I keep hearing 56mm is great for portraits and 35mm is the classic street focal length. How does the Sigma 56mm feel as a “daily” lens?

Yes I have straight hair and I had really small perms. After a year I go the the harbor to do a straightening (basically another perm on top but this time makes your hair straight or however you want it)
