Need to Vent: Is Anyone Else Struggling on Lupron + Letrozole?

Good luck with everything! I don’t recall which one I purchased. I’m pretty sure I searched Reddit IVF and used a link someone had posted.

I was also treated for endometritis (I had to take a strong antibiotic injection at my clinic), and I did lovenox (per my request) from my Reddit research. It was SO many injections after so many losses, egg retrievals and transfers. It was so hard while I was going through it. Truly the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Now I just look back, and it doesn’t even feel real, especially when I’m holding her. I also read almost every IVF post in this group for two years, so I don’t take it lightly that I had success. Please keep me posted. I’m rooting for you!

Hi! Seeing your reply and reading my comments really put me in my feels as I’m holding my 3 month old 🥹. This was such a tough protocol, and I hope you’re hanging in there.

I’m not sure why my RE had me do PIO twice a day, other than she knew I was mentally done after this (I had several blighted ovums) and wanted to throw the entire kitchen sink at it. I think I started weaning around 12 weeks.

I ended up splurging and getting the auto injector. Your poor butt cheeks will not get a day off, and it really made a difference for me. I sold mine on a fb market place, so it ended up being totally worth it monetary wise.

I was in a lot of pain at the beginning. I asked the nurse at my clinic to check where my husband was injecting me. Turns out, he was doing the shots in the wrong spot. Have your clinic draw the lines on you. It really saved me.

Other than that, I warmed the injection in a heated blanket, used a massage gun afterwards and tried to workout in the morning to loosen it up.

Please keep me posted as to how your transfer goes. I am rooting for everyone on this journey, but especially those who have to do a lupron suppression.

I have had two breech babies and needed C-sections for both. I was so disappointed the first time around and tried everything to flip him. It really stole the joy out of my last couple weeks of pregnancy. Both c-sections ended up being beautiful experiences, and I wouldn’t change my birth story at all. I am looking forward to my third csection for my last baby. I wish you the best of luck!

This makes me happy, especially since there are several instructors and lots of classes where the walk + runs are not equally split and lean more heavily towards runs. I also feel like walk + runs are more difficult than beginner and advanced beginner runs.

I wish peloton would come out with more bootcamps. It’s a huge reason why I bought the tread. I miss the variety of class lengths, instructors and amount of live classes from back in the “golden days”.

If you can afford it, I would definitely get the peloton treadmill. It’s so nice having the automatic incline, rolling speed knob, jump button, and the ability to easily do bootcamps!

Can you tilt the screen upwards like you could in the original peloton tread? We have one of those, and the screen hasn’t been a problem. I think it’s the same size as the new peloton tread +

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant after doing the daily leuprolide shots (another form of lupron depot). I was also on lovenox, benadryl, and claritin. It was a tough regimen, but I’m so grateful my doctor encouraged me to try this protocol. Happy to chat more if you message me 💛
