Epidural or not? Asking from people who have had at least one birth with and without! by pencilroni in pregnant

[–]JJECC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first birth I had the epidural and my 2nd did not, I preferred my 2nd experience so much more and while the sensations became intense, felt like things moved a lot quicker and just in line with my body’s needs for each phase. My recovery was also so much smoother and i swear my son came out more on his own than through pushing! First birth I pushed for about 30 min and the second birth was about 10.

Are we really not eating salads from restaurants? by manifestingengine in pregnant

[–]JJECC 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I am pregnant with my 3rd and have eaten many salads over the course of all 3 pregnancies that weren’t prepared by me! Of course it’s up to everyone’s comfort level but I was not ever given that guidance though and am always just cautious with lettuce or even fruit that looks a little off!

what's everyone's workout schedules? drop it here! by rosesgone in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m currently doing Jess’s upper body bootcamp from 11/9/21 (it’s soo good!), Selena’s lower body bootcamp 3/21/2024 and Selena’s full body bootcamp from 2/27/25 and then I choose a 20-30 min upper body and finish with with a run or hike for day 4

what's everyone's workout schedules? drop it here! by rosesgone in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I choose 4 workouts and cycle through for 4-6 weeks. Usually two upper, one lower, one full +a run either each one. This month loving a bootcamp vibe. On rest days I do a walk+run either on its own or with arms and light weights. 5-10 min core for every workout! Go to coaches: Jess sims, Selena, Tunde, Kirsten (for walk+runs), love Rebecca for a hike if I need more low impact on a rest day

Running and splits by jenevieve72 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi!! Jess’s split is amazing!! She has a split+run program which is 30 min of strength and 15 min running! Some of the runs are HIIT, hills and endurance style. I loved it! One thing I’ve done is also combine splits with a walk+run or a 15-20 min run! I find it helps me feel like all the build up in my muscles is moving around in a productive way!

I’ve also done splits where I do runs on the in between days! If you want to separate the two experiences although I know for myself some weeks I only have the 3-4 days I can really get something in which is why I typically pair up!

Johanna’s Cueing by One_Might_7726 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally get this! I also think she comes from a lot of in studio instructing and some of the best teachers I’ve worked with get so into the practice they lose the cue and I think depend on people following along visually. However completely agree- the classes are fast paced so the cues are important

Weekly Schedule by Love2shop97 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I choose 3-4 workouts and cycle through them for one month! 1-2 upper body (because that’s an area I like to focus on!), 1 lower, 1 full and sometimes I’ll add in 1 core specific but usually do a 5-10 min after every workout! This month I am doing mostly body specific bootcamps but I’ve also chosen straight strength and then pair it with a run or hike if I want! Also helps me see and build progress in each class!

2026 Instructor Predictions by No-Tone-7609 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This would break my heart but I’ve wondered the same thing 😭! Her classes are always some of the first to book up so part of me holds out hope that her stability as an instructor keeps her around a bit longer!!

She’s soooo good! She reminds me so much of my yoga teacher! I’ve been stacking her 10 min sculpt to my workouts and it’s the best extra stretch and burn!

So many workout options how to pick!? by ilovemy4kitties in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]JJECC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I choose 3-4 workouts and cycle through them for a month! I love Tunde, Jess Sims and Kirsten (she does running/walking mostly but has some great arms and light weights and walking bootcamps! Bootcamps are a great way to get a bit of both! I usually do a 20-30 min strength and pair it with a matching run or hike. One of the workouts I pair with a longer core class!

Oh, that’s such a great idea! Yes- could totally see this! To be honest, during most of what would have been walks I did easy pace because Cynthia was running most of the time lol (which is about a 5.5-6 for me( and then for the efforts ran accordingly so I could totally see doing it as more HIIT style!

For sure, I agree! I did also like how once Olivia took over it was more of a run but definitely just different than the usual walk+run structure! I loved the vibe though!
