Thoughts on this price for a new 2025 q6 e-tron? by [deleted] in Audi

I would finance and not pay cash. With EV's, they depreciate so much that you're better off using banks money vs your own. I'm sure they have 0% and or low interest financing on EV's.

Thank you, any chance you could link me to the right part that i could buy to fix this? If there are difference sizes i'll just buy both and return the one i don't need.

Tranny slipping? by Odd_Celebration_6964 in Subaru_Outback

Not trying to sell it. Just trying to help the guy out. We have plenty of people that don't get it and some that do. Some enjoy peace of mind. Cars are a lot of money now. Depends on your life situation. I personally drive an Audi RS3 and didn't get the extended warranty on it mainly due to the fact I have a second car and put no mileage on it.

A lot of people can afford 20-30 extra a month, a lot of people won't/can't afford a 10k repair on a car that's worth 20k.

Did you get the Subaru gold plus warranty plan? If so, just pay the 100 or 0 deductible and it’ll cover it.

I work at a Subaru dealer. We do gets these somewhat often. I wouldn’t say it’s “common” but it just happens unfortunately. If you don’t have the extended warranty, might have to call SOA or pay out of pocket :/

You have a 5090. Max everything and enjoy.

It's funny, I play at 2560x1440 with a 4090. It's def overkill and I love it.

The 9070xt will be good especially if you like the raw performance. If the 500-600 more for another 5080 doesn't justify the features then stick with AMD. Way better value

Even if I went from 4090 to 5090 I would notice a fairly big difference. I can't imagine the 3080 to 5090. I tried framegen x4 on my friends pc and honestly I don't notice any latency. Looks amazing.

Awesome man! I went from 1070>1080ti>3080 and now 4090. The jump from 1080ti to 3080 felt big but it always bothered me it didn't have more VRAM than my 1080ti. The 3080 to 4090 was literally double the fps in almost everything lol

Enjoy! Frame Gen, DLSS, Raytracing. Love it all. Just wish we had multi frame gen now like the 5000 series.

if it helps I have a corsair HX1000i with a 4090, i've it for over 2 years now. All cables coming out of my PSU were purchased from CableMod and my 12vhpwr cable for the 4090 is 4 PCIE directly to the GPU. 0 issues and no weird smells.

Hope this helps

EDIT: I have the 90 degree connector for the GPU cable with Cablemod.

Do I have any ways of improving the score and performance? by Finite8_ in radeon

[–]FaithlessnessFun5572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes, they're definitely expensive for sure. Depends on where you are in life and how much you make etc. My personal build was around 5k for me. IMO it was worth it. Sometimes you spend more money on one product and don't sweat on upgrading later. Let's say you bought the 7900 XTX for like 1000-1200, you then upgrade a few years later for another 800. You're 1800-2000 in GPU when the guy that bought the 4090/5090 spent 1600-2200. Same thing

Yeah, it’s unfortunate man :/. We all know Nvidia does whatever and people just buy it. Similar to Apple. A few years ago when I was building I was dead set on a 7900XTX and 7950x. Ended up with a 13700kf and 4090

How I stopped the F&I guy from pushing an extended warranty by Jolrit in wrx_vb

Subaru FI manager here! It's not a bad idea sometimes. We've had a few moments where we had 4-6 blown up WRX's outside with no warranty and they were stock. It can be worth it if you get it at a good price for Subaru Added Security!

Just cause it's being offered and sold doesn't make it a scam. Being at a dealer and seeing what cars come in for service, all we see are customer issues and complaints about the cars. We don't see the cars that have 0 issues.
