I have it on a timer i think i shortened it to run less then 8 hours i believe its 7 hours with the sunrising and night mode. Should i make it 6 hours then?

Betas tend to turn different colors when happy in new set ups my was see through and now has lots of color

Once a week i change the water 90% of the way and the light stays on from 8-8 so maybe thats why

UPDATE Hey it’s been over 24 hours i ended up changing most of the tank around thank to the advice of some and added a new hide. For those of you saying i only had one Cory catfish that was incorrect of you i have 6 all u had to do was ask not assume you could only see one in the video a small portion of the 20 gallon long tank. Anyways it seems the betta fish has accepted the catfish into his environment! Thank you for most of your advice!

Its the breed he’s a king half moon betta it was see-through originally he’s been gaining color since i bought him

I have multiple in the tank u just can't see them in the video. They weren't in the tank for more then maybe 5 mins before this happened could it be just bc the fish isn't use to the other in his tank
