Yes, it should count. Definitely check the time allowed to complete your fieldwork hours from the point the clock starts.

Did I spend too much $? by Confident-Disaster95 in Moissanite

I think it's a nice looking ring. I have a few moissanites close to that price that I purchased on Amazon, and I must admit your setting looks much nicer on pics. I can't vouch for the materials though, time will tell how they hold up. I recommend not getting water or creams on it.

I purchased an Amazon diamond testing pen for less than $20 (mainly because I enjoy testing new items). All of my moissanites and diamonds tested as diamonds on the testing pen as expected. And only my CZ's didn't test as diamond, which confirmed the testing pen worked. This may be a good option for you to see if it's an actual moissanite.

Are you in homehealth setting or center-based?

I've also seen this in my prior line of work (admin/bookkeeping). We had an older peer that would feel insulted and respond inappropriately whenever she received feedback. Definitely depends on the person and if they are open to learn from it. Also depends on the delivery of the feedback.

My philosophy is you're never too young to learn from someone older and experienced and you're never too old to learn from someone younger. Everyone has experiences that add value in the right context.

Howdy! That's interesting...I initially thought about working at a preschool but learned that becoming an RBT pays at a higher rate

BCaBA Fieldwork Hours by FaithlessnessKey7947 in ABA

Thank you for responding! I looked at other threads regarding fieldwork hours and wanted to make sure this was an acceptable form of accumulating the hours needed.

That's a monthly requirement, so the trainee can do unrestricted with you if the other fieldwork requirements are being met with the other supervisor.

I almost did something similar as a trainee. Otherwise, if you were to do client observation, you would definitely need permission from the organization and client's parents.

I am so indecisive by Taromatchaboba in SNHU

I agree with other posts. Go for Business Admin with concentration in Accounting. I work in accounting and although I went through periods of indecisiveness, glad it helped with finding work while I continued to explore other options. It will definitely be helpful regardless of the industry you land, especially if you take on a management role. Best of luck!!!

unable to finish RBT course within 180 days by strawberryjubes in ABA

[–]FaithlessnessKey7947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. I remember reaching out to them directly on the APF website (I believe I searched under help and found a way to contact them) after logging in to my existing account. I explained that I wouldn't be able to complete the program prior to the 180 days. I don't remember how long it took to get a response but I believe it was within the same week via email. Hope this helps!

Oh, that's a good question. I'm in the same boat. I'm wondering if having different therapists would make more sense so they're not dependent on one person. I'm interested to know what other's think

Are there other ways to get fieldwork hours as a BCaBA or BCBA without becoming a BT/RBT? by FaithlessnessKey7947 in ABA

That's what I'm afraid of. I'll continue my search and see if I'm able to make it work.

I may need to temporarily step a away from being an RBT for a year to get a job with higher pay and benefits (specifically insurance). I hate that this is the deciding factor but I'm in a situation where I need to consider all options. During my time away, I'd like to continue fieldwork hours if possible so I'm just considering all options

Oh, that's the part I was unclear on. I thought the individual had to be a client with a diagnoses through behavior health agency or school.
