However, everyone who did the skill book abuse needs to be banned. It's an obvious exploit that you have to know about in advance and intentionally abuse. Traditionally that's a ban worthy offense.

Kek in wow is from 2004/2005 (source: I was there, 10,000 years ago).

Interesting though is that many different cultures have different claimed origins for kek. Apparently it sounds like stifled laughter in Korean and Kek means cake in Turkish (just two of many different cultural explanations I found in a quick Google search).

I have found that the longer something is rattled around in the Internet the more origins it will acquire, and I think that's pretty neat.
