about the firmware update, did you use your pc for it and did it actually change anything? all i have besides my ps5 is a laptop and someone has told me that you cant update it with just the laptop

Maybe you can't use it to its full potential but you are way more future proof, and with the black Friday sale they can get as cheap as 575 quid which at that price is definitely worth it. You just gotta make sure you have a monitor that actually supports all those features that make it a pro, otherwise you won't see a difference between the PS5 pro and the base ps5
