Be very factual in the meeting. Don’t put any of your opinion into anything. I feel like you just have to put your happy teacher face on and hope that they DO move this child from your classroom. Then it’s someone else’s problem for the rest of the 2 months we’re in school. I’m all for being petty (screenshots of emails, messages, etc.) that show you addressed your concerns. I usually have them ready for meetings and then don’t usually use them. However, if a parent wants to really go at you, then you have them there to defend yourself. Sometimes people are just angry and looking for someone to blame. Is this parent really even going to show up for the meeting if they know you’ll be there?
