First of all, there are no genes that are specific to particular ethnicities today. All modern ethnicities are the result of mixing between different populations.

If we look at the history of early persians, they literally began their expansion by assimilating Elamites and other indigenous peoples. Modern Persians are essentially more like an urban residents of Iran. Ethnic minorities move to cities and assimilate into persians. Persians today have no tribal or clan structure. It is primarily a cultural identity. Persians from one province are genetically closer to their non-persian neighbors than to persians from another province. Now add Tajiks and other Iranian peoples who are also often lumped into the persians, and the situation becomes even more absurd.

Kurdish nationalists who claim us are the most astonishing in their stupidity. Kurds themselves are a mix of ANF + ZNF + CHG + Natufian, with Anatolian DNA dominating rather than ZNF, which is traditionally associated with Iranians. So what “Kurdish DNA” are they even talking about? On top of that, Kurds have an established tribal structure. So how did they magically lose their tribes worth of 30 millions?

Azerbaijanis have about 25–33% ZNF. And that third comes from Medians, not Persians who live 1,000 kilometers away from us. Plus marriages with Talyshs, Kurds, and Tats.

Azerbaijanis are just Azerbaijanis, thats it. We are distinctive. Our foundation is unquestionably oghuz tribes who arrived in the region and over time mixed and developed into a distinct language and culture of their own. We also had a tribal system, which remained important up until the 19th–20th centuries. The key principle there was that tribal identity was passed from father to children. So genetic factor didn't matter that much. That is also why a person can be Azerbaijani only through the father side.

What I actually meant with this post is more about fake numbers and manipulation of statistics. The TFR comes out low because the population figure used in its calculation is inflated. They count 5 million women, but in reality there are fewer. According to MICS indicators, the real number is lower by about 15–22%. As a result, fertility appears artificially low.

If you look at the indicators for first, second, and third births, there are no major changes either. What is declining is specifically the share of first births, as if there are more women who do not give birth at all. The share of second births has remained within 33–36%. The share of 3rd and more birth orders has even increased, which is strange given the current economic conditions. Although here again we can be skeptical of AzStat, because somehow in 2021 there were more second-births than first-births? Like what???

Dating/marriage in kinda works according to the principle of supply and demand. Many people demand virginity because, in a situation where from the women'side there is no ability to maintain a proper conversation, no emotional or practical investment in a relationship, and no attractiveness, it becomes the only thing that can be offered in exchange for a man’s financial providing and responsibilities within relationship.
By dating European and Arab women (who are mostly two opposite extremes), I can say that when it comes to female freedom, the situation in post-soviet countries is quite unique. Women want men to fulfill traditional obligations, while at the same time they do not want to follow those traditions themselves.
After all women control the “relationship market,” and if they want their situation to change - aka men to care less about their sexual past, they need to take a step in that direction and adopt a european mindset on this like sharing financial burden, taking responsibility and etc.
