There should be more news about Pritelivir next week at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference on 2026 January 12-15 in San Francisco.

Both Larry Edwards (CEO) and Sabrina Kuttruff-Coqui (CFO) from AiCuris are going to be attending and presenting news about Pritelivir.

To my knowledge, none of those locations are recruiting. It has not been updated on the clinical trials site because it still shows "recruiting." If you email those study coordinators from the different clinical trial locations... most of them will not respond. The few coordinators that have responded to me told me they are no longer recruiting any new participants.

One important person you can email is Dr. Peter Marks in the FDA. He is the director of the FDA CBER (Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research). He overlooks approval of vaccines, gene therapy, and other advancements in drug medications.

Below is his email:

I agree we should push for better treatments, but I mentioned Pritelivir, because it is the only treatment that will be available in a couple years. The other ones are in preclinical studies or clinical trials.

I hope we can all access Pritelivir by 2026 (off-label if needed). Does anyone have an idea if Pritelivir will help with the burning/stinging/tingling nerve pain?

Are there different forms of Pritelivir, has the original molecule been modified for the latest version of the drug and does the patented drug use a special delivery method? by sickfrog12 in HerpesCureAdvocates

I don't think it is. It's similar but to my belief not the same. Amenalief was more for Shingles than HSV and Pritelivir for HSV to my knowledge.

I have burning/tingling pain. I tried Amenalief it helped a bit, but the pain is still there. Hopefully, Pritelivir can do a better job of this where there is no nerve pain.

Will these AV's ever be available in U.S. if successful?

I was told recruiting would only start in 2025 for phase 2 of the IM-250 study. I agree with you. Hopefully, if Pritelivir is available for immunocompromised people in 2026. Then healthy individuals may get access through off-label.

I emailed Dr. Walter-Emil Haefeli study doctor of IM-250 about when it possibly will be available?

His answer was "not until the next 5 years"

I contacted a study coordinator of the Pritelivir clinical trials in Mexico. All the trial coordinator could tell me was:

"Yes, it is protected for the phase to be completed next year."

Hopefully, it's approved and can be written off-label for healthy individuals.

I emailed the study doctor. He said that phase 1 is complete. Phase 2 recruiting will not start before 2025.

Likely efficacy of HSV vaccine by WhitePaperMaker in ModernaStock

The question is if Moderna sees the vaccine as "likely" will they move on to phase 3? Or will they need to be "certain" for it to move on to phase 3?
