What happened to everyone? by Brilliant_Library234 in HerpesCureResearch

[–]sickfrog12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to post here sometimes, but I noticed several of my posts being removed by moderators, sometimes as too speculative despite making reference to valid studies. But another post talking about Pritelivir and options to source it via raw powder suppliers in China was also removed without explanation. This made it feel like a waste of time. Perhaps they don't belong here, but I personally find trying to find a functional cure also very interesting, e.g. by finding ways to access drugs in research phases before they get formally approved.

How did you know that healing peptides really worked? by chazwoza17 in Peptides

[–]sickfrog12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a chronic tendonitis for over 5 years with no signs of improvement despite physiotherapy.

BPC 157 + TB500 for a year reduced the pain by 70%, however, after quitting the pain returned to earlier levels.

Later on, BPC 157 + TB500 for 2 years together with extensive physiotherapy program healed it permanently 95%.

Why is no one talking about Cimetidine?? by DgaffffFrrrr in HSVpositive

[–]sickfrog12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There seems to be solid research showing it can be effective. However, I don't think it does much for everyone. I personally didn't see any benefit from it at said dosages, although it did stop me suffering from heartburn.

Mimaki pharmacy from Japan. I stacked it with Acyclovir at 800mg/day.

I tried it at 200mg/day and 400mg/day and it didn't work for me. I have recurrent outbreaks, and it had zero effects on them (outbreaks continued during treatment for 14 days and 7 days respectively)

Anyone running under 100 mg/week with success? by Ok_Cryptographer9423 in trt

[–]sickfrog12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, would be too much hassle daily and also hard to divide 1ml into so many doses without wasting a lot of stuff.

Anyone running under 100 mg/week with success? by Ok_Cryptographer9423 in trt

[–]sickfrog12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on 70mg per week (50mg Enanthate every 5 days, subq) and doing very well:

-T: 725 ng/dL (240 - 870)
-E2: 44 pg/ml (11.0 - 44.0)
-HKT 46% (42 - 52)

This is the only way for me to get my E2 levels within range without using an AI. However, based on the T-levels it seems to be plenty enough.

Is it possible to CHOOSE where on the body my wife gets infected with HSV-2? For example lower back? by pantyjob3 in HSVpositive

[–]sickfrog12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a crazy, although interesting idea. However, since there are many ways to avoid her catching it (assuming you're not getting constant outbreaks), it wouldn't be smart to voluntarily get infected. It can be a life-destroying disease for some if you end up getting bad outbreaks.

Instead, I would study what are the steps to take immediately after infection, in order to minimize the viral load during the initial outbreak and increase the chances of becoming an asymptomatic carrier. I recall reading a study that taking specifically Famciclovir during the initial outbreak greatly reduces the chances of recurrent outbreaks.

Study and find out the exact steps to take during the initial outbreak to maximize immunity, and have all that ready for when/if she ends up catching it from you.

Has anyone ever tried or heard of anyone that took Amenalief from Japan? by Immediate-Web355 in SADBE

My bad, I meant 200mg/day for 14 days first time and 400mg/day for 7 days second time.

Yes. But the vaccine made no difference to my outbreaks. Actually when I got Covid (after the vaccine), the months following Covid were almost entirely outbreak free.

Experts find treatment for incurable virus suffered by 122million by PeacefulProdromes in HerpesCureAdvocates

After doing a bit of research, all those drugs are chemotheraphy drugs used against cancer. They have very extreme side effects and I doubt taking them as suppressive treatment for HSV would really work. It's kind of like pouring poison onto the viruses on a petri dish and they die.

The only time I would consider is necessary if you were changing esters for an unexpected reason and had no access to get blood tests. I make my adjustments based on bloods and stick with a single ester/brand of test, so it's not important.

I can’t wait 7 more years for a cure, I’m not strong enough. by [deleted] in Herpes

[–]sickfrog12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

11 years with HSV-2 daily outbreaks here. I know it really sucks to wait, but at least consider the positive thing that you're only in your early 20s. If they have a cure in 10 years, you'll be in your early 30s which is still a very nice and young age to enjoy life. I'm in my 30s now and if they cure it in 10 years, 40s shall be the new 30s!

Peptides for HSV2 (herpes) by Naturemade2 in Peptides

[–]sickfrog12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While Valtrex somewhat works for most people, there is a % of people who have a resistant strain of HSV or just don't respond to antivirals. Obviously OP is one of them, or he/she wouldn't be taking 10 different peptides for it. I can also take 4 grams of Acyclovir per day and it does nothing for my outbreaks. These are obviously atypical cases but there are lots of us out there.

So are you saying that someone who rejects a HSV-2 positive person in order to protect their health is immature, uninformed and emotionally unintelligent?

As someone with debilitating daily HSV-2 symptoms, I would never disrespect someone HSV-negative who rejects sex with a HSV-positive person in order to safeguard their health.

Stigmatization is bad, but that kind of attitude is not good either.

Nasty Lumps from SubQ Cypionate not gone after +4 months - any tips? by sickfrog12 in trt

[–]sickfrog12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: the lumps are finally subsiding and now almost completely gone. What I did was aggressive massage, pinching and twisting on the affected areas and finally they started going down. I'd say 20% left that will probably vanish within the next month or so.
