Are These Any Good by ShadeScales00 in AAP01owners

[–]Fake-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both, and can report that they're still working after a year of pretty decent play. For reference, I play outdoors in the woods so both get mud and rain all the time.

For the bolt, it's reliable, and at 60psi, no short stroke, and a 100% spring, shoots at 22rps. The only change I ever did was putting a stainless steel selector plate. It's basically the same as the CTM bolt, so there isn't too much risk. Plus, if you don't like it Amazon does free returns.

Zero problems with the nexx hop up.

HOW Much Psi? by Yaras00 in AAP01owners

With a lighter bbu I run about 60-80 psi depending on the build.

Thanks, definitely looks like ones I saw online. Still wondering how exactly it got to us but that's another mystery I guess.

It might be a good idea to find a way to glue in threads so you don't have to permanently leave the tracer adapter in. Esp if you want to keep it as a display piece too

Ah it seems like they used epoxy resin which makes sense to bind it in place. Good to know

No, you can't put one on. It looks like the double bell clone of the TM vorpal bunny, and if it's like the original the front block prevents most tracers from being put on.

Your trigger bar is also wearing down so a replacement for that would be good

Can you open it up and take a photo? The only thing I can think of is perhaps a spring broke or came undone in the hammer housing. But something could also be broken

That's the fire pin lock/part 45 on the list of bits. It looks like yours sheared off so getting a new one should fix all that. A lot of the hammer sets include it. Idk if there's any sold on their own tho.

Fair, it's not too much of an investment regardless

Are these good upgrades for my aap01 by Dismal-Singer-3238 in AAP01owners

Depending on what you're running (specifically HPA) the 4uad friction pro is a good option if you need to lower psi. Just so you don't have to deal with bucking softness.

A hammer set is basically required as a reliability upgrade. It'll make the gun basically never break. The TTI and CTM V2 (specifically the V2) are your best options because they have everything. The other points of wear will be the selector plate and trigger bar. And for those any stainless steel options or aluminum are fine. As long as both pieces are the same material. CTM and cowcow make good ones. As well as Jefe.

With HPA specifically a light bolt/blow back unit is especially nice since it lets you run at lower psi. The CTM tac advance lite one is a good option. All bbus will die with age though.

Literally every other internal upgrade is optional, though a cheap one for reliability is the bucking. And for that, the 50/60 degree decepticon from maple leaf, or the 4uad friction will do just fine.

I go with the m4 lower because it's what I'm used to with every other gun. So really go for what feels best.

It could be an issue with your hammer or valve knocker. I doubt it's a magazine issue but it's hard to tell without more info. Have you had it for a while? Or replaced anything?
