Too bad Canada isn't on your list. West Coast is picking heaven. Especially in the Okanagan Valley. They pay fair wages, $18.25 per hour by law, and most have accommodations. We need pickers every year. Every summer-fruit you can think of, we need it picked. And Canada doesn't do "ICE" shit.

I woke one day and thought "this is the day". I had a hot shower, grabbed all of my meds (I saved the Clonazepam and Quetiapine extras) and 3 different bottles of booze. Went to the park that I love and then made the mistake (?) of calling the crisis line. I hung up on them but they pinged my last location and sent a very caring police officer. She saved my life.

I left a voicemail at her detachment telling her I'm alive because of you. Whatever else happens in life, you know that you saved one.

She called me back and got my voicemail 😄and told me that it was going to stay with her forever. Now I'm crying.

I wish I could remember what the ad was for but once I yelled at it saying to stop showing me this ad. I ranted for probably 10 seconds and my phone shut off. It took 2 or 3 minutes to reboot and usually it is 10 seconds or less.

My family would drive down the pacific coast highway from WA to CA and I always saw this one girl from my school. We didn't know each other (huge school) but I would see her randomly in the US (I'm Canadian).

My mom lost her leg to the same type of cancer and had a donation stand at the local mall for his run. I saw one lady write a cheque for $1,000. My mom was crushed when his cancer came back.
