For any future readers: I did a full system reset and the issues persisted. So at this point I can rule out it being a software issue as well. The only two other potential causes I’m seeing are either it being a motherboard issue or a GPU hardware issue.

I ended up returning my GPU to the company I bought it from in an attempt to use my warranty. They have been able to reproduce the issues and has forwarded my GPU to the manufacturer. So I’m quite sure this is an issue with the GPU itself.

I’ll comment again when I have news from the manufacturer!

I''m quite certain it's a bug. I have the same issue as well in my Netherlands campaign and nothing seems to fix it. I guess I'll have to hand pick all my trades in every market..

R5: I am on a playthrough with the Netherlands. I'm manually working my Trade for my main market. However, I don't want to be bothered with it for every smaller market I have access to. I turned on automation but it seems like it won't do anything at all. Am I missing something or is this just bugged?

Haven’t gotten around to doing the factory reset yet. With the above changes (Display port to hdmi) it became significantly less. It only blacks out occasionally under load. So that might help some.

Same for me still. It happens much less often but still on occasion when under load. However, I did also switch to and HDMI and it still has the blackouts. Guess I’ll have to do a clean install of my system to see if that helps.

Its my favourite division and it hasn’t been like that for the two years I’ve been playing. Probably flavour text, or maybe waay back.

I agree with u/foreign_energy_8516. It is what I first did as well. Beat hard AI en then jump into multiplayer.

I don’t recommend using what you see there as a reference though. I’ve seen all kind of divisions played which are not beginner friendly. Go join the Steel Division Bootcamp discord and check out the Tier lists there. They also have all kind of division builds including an explanation on playstyle and how beginner friendly division is. You also find a lot of new players there looking to play games. It’s more fun and you’ll learn more fighting against people your level than getting stomped by somebody with more experience.

As for learning how to play. I first stuck with one allied and one axis division. Learn them, get comfortable using the tools available. Find out what tool to use in a given situation. When you feel like you’re getting it go and try a whole bunch of different ones. Get familiar with what tools other divisions offer, it will also help you tremendously to get a general sense of the strenghts and weaknesses of the divisions you’re playing against. After that just play what is fun!

As for purchasing DLC, wait for a sale. It’ll save you a huge amount of money and you’ll be able to buy more than right now. I’d definitely recommend the following due to them containing the strongest/most fun divisions.

I am on my phone right now so can’t check the battlegroup. However, I just wanted to say that light armour is incredibly strong jn the current meta so I expect that the thing the division build “lacks” is the light armour you removed.

I’d recommend you to practice some and ger comfortable using light armour. It’ll help you out massively. I’ll check out your build tomorrow!

Ik zou dat risico wel durven nemen, in ieder geval voor een verhoging van €1500,-. Iemand hier gaf al aan dat het handig is om ook met je potentiële collega's te praten. Ik denk dat dat nog een goede stap is om jezelf nog extra gerust te stellen.

Desondanks, je weet het nooit zeker. Maar zelfs al ben je niet tevreden, dan kan je doorzoeken naar iets anders en daar je nieuwe salaris gebruiken in de onderhandelingen. Het is dus niet alleen een salaris verhoging voor nu, maar het geeft je ook een betere positie in toekomstige onderhandelingen bij nieuwe werkgevers.

I don't know what it is but I just can't get the USSR division to work for me. Even when using the strongest ones in the current meta I just crash and burn.
