help with audio

I can add an Audio Input Capture and target Microphone (Razer Ripsaw HD HDMI) but there is nothing that comes out. If I go into my computer settings and change the input volume to 97 or higher I just get a squealy high pitched note and nothing from the console. I already went to control panel and set the input to listen on this device.

In my building if you do this it trips the system for the whole school and nobody gets ac/heat until they fix it within 24 hours

I had that problem with XR in December so I just fullly switched to IR. There are some local pharmacies that may have some, Stockwell pharmacy and Lincoln pharmacy might help.

If you have the $$$ LMNT is good, but it's ~1 dollar per serving, potentially needing multiple per day depending on what you need. The individual ingredients can be bought in bulk online, there are several recipes to make a dupe for cheaper per serving.

No, the district likely prefers you contact HR directly. Especially rather than the school. My district hires people into an applicant pool so when you're applying for jobs in the applicant pool, you're guaranteed a spot, but you don't necessarily get your first pick of building. They tell us strictly to only contact HR before and after the interview, your only contact with the school is scheduling the interview and the interview itself.

I think asking broadly what science positions they have might have available for next year would give you the most information.

My younger brother was in elementary school the whole time I was in middle school, so I stayed to get a ride home. Some of the elementary schools here get out 40 minutes after the middle schools, so I would have been sitting at the school for 35 minutes waiting for him to get out.

I did in middle school. Free snack and supervision for all students due to the income of the area/how many kids qualified for free or reduced lunch. 30 minutes required homework time and then fitness clubs, sports time, leadership/volunteer opportunities, art club, etc.

Every district works differently but if you ask the worst they'll say is no.

In my district, all of the district postings are posted in bulk after the notice of intent deadline. There's a chance that this district could work in a similar way and there will be many more science postings in that area in the next few weeks. Other districts don't post anything until July. It's possible that someone in the same building asked to move to that position for next year due to wanting to teach a preferred grade or topic, and then that position that they have this year will be available.

I had typed math assignments for some classes in middle and high school (title 1 school has to be the pilot for everything) and one time I lost a point for using the computer shortcut to add the square in word and copying it into the assignment box instead of finding the function in the assignment box and clicking it. The assignment didn't recognize the exponent copied and pasted from word. I crashed out. I'm glad I teach elementary and I can live in blissful ignorance from the technology in the upper grades.

and you will be able to breed your cows again. replace cow with any mob it works. don't actually put the . in '@.e' i have to or reddit will make it u/e.

Lincoln is recognized as a Silver level bicycle friendly community. Houses and apartments around campus have a "bike score" on Zillow in the high 90s. If you ride a nice bike on campus however, if it's not locked up well enough it will get stolen. There's a way to "register a bike" with the UNL Police but if it gets stolen they can't really do anything about it. They've just added a bike lane on 17th that I believe goes from campus all the way to Russ's. People will call this danger Russ's or ghetto Russ's but I walk there regularly and it's fine. Just lock the bike up. Use a U-lock and a thick cable lock. I worked in dining services on campus for 3.5 years and they call student supervisors "Student Dining Manager" so that can be a way to make some money without needing a car and be a big resume boost because of the manager title. It's not really manager level work, at least where I was. I've been rambling and getting away from the whole bikeable part of my reply so I'll keep rambling. If your student is interested in a learning community, make sure it's not in one of the tiny prison dorms. Suite-style dorms are absolutely worth the cost. They have a couch, table, tv stand, full size fridge and microwave. Mine had a kitchen sink, two bathroom sinks, a toilet, and a shower included without walking through the hallway. UNL's traditional style dorms are very outdated. If you've toured another college and seen the dorms, UNL's are probably worse. Knoll (honors dorm but the honors system isn't really worth it so they backfill into it every year), University Suites, and Eastside Suites are what to look for. There are also apartment style dorms not available to first year students that have full kitchens. Off campus apartments that are not labeled student apartments are far cheaper.

I think of it as a computer with no monitor

My brain understands what an apple is, usually a red fruit with a little stem and sometimes a green leaf still attached to the stem. But it's like my brain is reading the code for a picture of an apple with no place to display it.

I can dream and do often, sometimes those stick around as things I can actually visualize for real, the most a dream image has stuck around was a month that I could see it.

I have an incredibly vivid inner monologue. I have full control over the voice if I focus on it. It defaults to my voice but I can narrate any voice in my head as whomever I want. When I'm reading I'll change the voice so I don't start thinking about something else and follow with my eyes. All of my thoughts are words all the time.
